Dublekas A and B were the first to hear the sound of the cyrotubes' doors banging onto the tile floor. They hurried to the first floor of the mansion, to the room that Jake and Rose were held kidnapped in, to figure out what was going on.

The first thing Jake and Rose noticed when they broke out was that their weapon bags, which were originally in the corner of the room they were held hostage in, were gone. They growled and ran out of the room. Their plan was to head to the storage room of the mansion, the first guessed place their bags would be at.

At that time, the leader Dubleka was out shopping to restock on food. The other four Dublekas didn't know what to do since they had no orders. They always expected orders from only the leader Dubleka. Without their leader there, they were like helpless, little babies. They began to panic, because their prisoners escaped and their leader was out shopping. When he'd return... the Dublekas didn't even want to think what would happen.

Dubleka A was always the strongest Dubleka of the four of them. At that moment, he felt that it was his responsibility to step forward and temporarily fill in the leader Dubleka's shoes. He gave himself and the others orders to find the escaped prisoners.

"Where would the storage room be?" Rose whispered, looking behind her to face Jake. The two of them were walking down a hallway in the mansion, making sure to stay close to the walls. They stopped behind a turn.

"I'm guessing the back of the mansion," Jake answered. Rose nodded and sneaked to the back of the mansion, with Jake following. The two of them approached a large door in the back of the mansion, which they guessed lead to the storage room. Jake kicked open the locked door, which revealed the already-guessed storage room. Their backpacks were on the floor in the center of the room. They quickly grabbed their bags.

"Ok, here's the plan," Jake whispered. "We have to kill every Dubleka here right now. We need to do it now since we're here. If we try and escape now, we could either get caught again or lose our chance of defeating them. We have to do it now while we have the opportunity."

"But... Jake... they're stronger than-," Rose started.

"Rose, we've got to break with the past," Jake interrupted. "We can't let our past experiences with the Dublekas stops us. Yes, they are abnormally strong and powerful, but that doesn't mean we can't defeat them! Yes we've been beaten by them before, but that means it's their turn now. You've got to trust me with this. The future will be there to save us if we get into any sort of trouble with the Dublekas."

"What does that mean?" Rose asked.

"That... the future will be there to save us," Jake sighed. "I don't exactly know myself, but just remember that." Rose still looked uncertain. "Remember what we were saying earlier about entering the maze? Here's our entrance. We've got to kill them. Let's split up and kill them individually. I'll meet you at the back entrance of the mansion. Got it?" Rose nodded. "Good. I'll see you soon." Rose smiled and looked down, happy that Jake had said, "I'll see you soon," instead of, "Goodbye." She saw Jake run off. Then she hurried off the other way.

Jake had a good idea of where the Dublekas would be. They most likely would be around where the room he and Rose were held hostage was at. He started running towards that room. The only problem was... he became lost in the giant mansion. The hostage room was very small, which didn't help. Jake soon hit a dead end, which caused him to turn around. His heart leaped into his throat when he saw Dubleka B running towards him.

"Crap!" Jake thought. "What do I do? What do I do?! What do I do?!" Jake saw electrical wires around him on the floor, which were connected to machines surrounding him along the walls. An idea popped inside of his head. Jake quickly turned around and grabbed a couple wires. When Dubleka B was right behind him, Jake spun around and electrocuted Dubleka B with the ends of the wires. He fell limp onto the ground. Jake checked his pulse, which happened to be very faint. He wasn't dead though. Jake brought out his pocket knife from his weapon bag and stabbed Dubleka B until the pulse went out. Then he ran away from him, ready to continue fighting the Dublekas.
