It was the next day after Zane had unlocked his True Potential. Currently, the four less experienced Ninja were listening to Nya talk about the skeleton remains of a Fangpure.

NYA: "Some villagers unearthed the remains of this Fangpyre a few miles away. It predates the Golden Age, and must be hundreds of years old. Although the venom in the fangs of the Fangpyre genetically mutate human cells into reptilian, I've learned there could be a way to stop the effects without having to create an antivenom."
Zane is shown taking notes while Kai is bored. Cole is drawing a picture of him fighting while Jay looked thoughtfully at Y/N and Nya, thinking about something involving the two. Finally, Y/N was looking at Nya almost curiously, as if he was trying to figure out a puzzle he just couldn't solve.
NYA: "If one is able to wildly raise their heart rate, hypothetically it could reverse the venom's effects." Her cheeks turn pink. "Resulting in...diminished, uh, excuse me, is someone wearing perfume? I'm severely allergic to perfume."
JAY: "Heh." He whispers to Kai. "You told me it was men's cologne."
KAI: "Meh, I get them mixed up."
Everyone but Jay, Y/N, and Nya laughs. Zane turns his humor switch off.
Y/N: "I don't get how that was funny..."
COLE: "Ah, looks like class is over. Time to start stomping some Serpentine before they find any Fangblades."
KAI: "Sounds like a plan."
ZANE: "I'm excited to join."
Jay was about to join them, but stopped and looked at Nya as she approached Y/N.
NYA: "H-Hey, um, Y/N?"
Y/N, who was about to leave, stopped and turned to look at Nya.
Y/N: "Yes?"
NYA: "I, well, it's just-" She sighs. "Nevermind."
Y/N was confused. Nya was usually honest and blunt with him. This, though, just confused him as Nya seemed flustered, almost shy.
Y/N: "Okay? If you need anything, just let me know." He smiled slightly. "You can tell me anything, and I'll listen."
NYA: "I'll keep that in mind..."
Y/N nods, exiting the room. Nya sighed loudly, leaning against the wall of the Bounty.
JAY: "Uh, hey uh, Nya."
Nya flinched by the sudden voice of Jay, not expecting him to be here. She looks over to Jay, who looked at her with curiosity and a little bit of worry.
