Chapter 33: The Art of the Silent Fist

A/N: This chapter was longer than expected to make. I'll try getting another one out by the end of today, and I think you will all like it.

Despite the repairs to New Ninjago City, the city found itself barren again. All the civilians had run for cover after the Overlord took over all the technology in the high technological city. A man, despite this, ran outside and tried to use a vending machine. It got stuck, unfortunately, when a Hover-Copter flies behind and scans the man.

HOVER-COPTER: "Sector 17 clear. Continuing search for ninja."

It flew away just as the man ran back inside.

P.I.X.A.L. extracts the Golden Power that Lloyd used on a Security Mech that wasn't destroyed by Sonia or Amy.

P.I.X.A.L.: "Initializing power transference. Extracting Golden Power. Standby for physical somatic download."

Electricity bellowed out of the tube, striking a coffin that rose near the tube. Inside, something stirred, two red eyes flashing on and off, as if it was a machine trying to power up and fail.

OVERLORD: "Yes. Yes!" The eyes turn off fully as a purple smoke emerged from the coffin. "It's not enough! I need more of the boy's power if I'm ever to be freed of this digital prison! I'm fed up with pathetic mortal bodies."

Cyrus Borg, now the Overborg, emerged from behind some crates, the Overlord's glare appearing on the screen.

OVERLORD "I want my own back. Find me more power! Find me the Golden Ninja!"

P.I.X.A.L.: "By my computation, your primary duty should be finding the Techno Blades. They are the only things that can—"

OVERLORD: "Those ninja don't even know what they already possess. I want the Golden one."

P.I.X.A.L.: "Nindroids have no current visual on him."

ROBOTNIK: "Ohohohoho of course they don't." The two looked over towards the man that entered the room. "They have no idea where to start looking, which is why we captured him."

The lights behind him turned on, revealing Wu. He was strapped to a table, arms stuck to his side as Robotnik approached.

ROBOTNIK: "So you're my cousin's adopted father?" He scoffed. "You're just a foolish old man."

WU: "This foolish old man that trained Y/N to be the best ninja he can be." He glared at Robotnik. "Why work with the Overlord? For your own sake?"

Robotnik smirks, wagging a finger at him.

ROBOTNIK: "My motives are none of your concern. But you, however, have some information we need."

Wu glared harder at Ivo.

WU: "I'll never tell you where they're hiding."

ROBOTNIK: "Oh? And... what makes you think that I just won't forcefully extract the information I want?"

A machine lifts up from the ground and fires a laser at Wu's head. The machine began to project the memories from Wu as it probed his mind. Wu, though, laughs. The machine did not cause any physical damage despite the prodding that was occurring.
