Chapter 34: Blackout - What I'm Made Of

In a random place in the mountains, Garmadon was found training Lloyd in the ways of the First Spinjitzu Master.

GARMADON: "We underestimate the importance of balance. When it's there, we're at peace. When something is off, everything falls. Ninjago is no different. It put too much faith in technology, allowing the Overlord to return, and because of your friends, now the world is without power. When one relies on something too much, we become weak, vulnerable, imbalanced. Like when I took Y/N under my wing, I taught him to not use the power of the Seven Chaos Emeralds unless he absolutely needs to. In order to find your full potential and unlock your true power, you must find your own balance."

Lloyd grunted, having to hold a few dozen boulders that Garmadon continued to stack on him.

LLOYD: "I'm already the Golden Ninja, how much more power do I need?"

GARMADON: "You've only scratched the surface! You have the potential to move mountains. Power of the First Spinjitzu Master! Just as Y/N does with the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds."

LLOYD: "The ninja destroyed the power substation, essentially destroying the Overlord and his Nindroids. Why can't we go back?"

GARMADON: "Essentially? Until the Overlord is fully erased from the system, we must not go back, but forward!"

Garmadon tossed a large rock on top of the tall tower of rocks Lloyd had been holding to collapse on him.

LLOYD: "Whoa!"

He grunts in pain, his body being buried under the rubble.

GARMADON: "If you can't move mountains, I guess we'll have to move over mountains!"

Lloyd preforms Spinjitzu, getting to his feet and glaring up at his father challengingly.

LLOYD: "Oh yeah?"

Garmadon hops down beside him, gesturing to the mountains ahead of them.

GARMADON: "And this next one looks particularly steep."

Inside of the empty and deserted Borg Tower, three construction workers find Cyrus Borg, unconscious.

WORKER #1: "Over here! I found him!" He turns back to the Unconcious Cyrus. "Are you all right, Mr. Borg?"

He reached for the mechanical faceplate, removing it. Cyrus blinked awake for the first time in a few days.

CYRUS: "Yes, yes, but how long have I been out?"

WORKER #1: "Quite a while, sir. We've been without power for a few days."

CYRUS: "What about Ivo? Is he alright?"

The workers shared a concerned glance.

WORKER #2: "Sir... we haven't seen him. He's been missing since the insurgance."

CYRUS: "Gone?"

WORKER #3: "Yes, as well as the Security Bots, what were they called again?"
