(This is gonna be a longer chapter! :D)

"It's colder than Elsa's ass crack out here," Jeff frowned, crossing his arms as the small group followed Toby.

"I did not need that image in my head," Y/N commented, keeping the coat Jeff lent her wrapped tightly around herself.

They were all trudging through the snow, going to the place where Toby said he found the "perfect Christmas tree.".

"Don't be a bunch of pussies; the tree isn't far from here," Toby giggled, swinging his hatchets back and forth as he walked. Jack trailed behind him with his hands in his pockets.

Jeff rolled his eyes, glancing down at Y/N before looking away again with a gulp.

Toby whistled idly as he walked his way to a large evergreen, gesturing to it with jazz hands.

"Isn't she a beauty!?" Toby said, looking down at the trunk.

They all looked up at the tree.

"Don't you think that's a bit too big?" Jeff asked.

Y/N snorted with laughter, quickly cupping her hand over her mouth.

"That's what she said!" Toby said, crouching with a smirk. He brushed away the bottom of the evergreen branches to access the base.

"I'm surrounded by morons," Jeff mumbled under his breath, shaking his head and looking around.

Jack stood beside the tree, holding it while Toby hacked away at the base with his hatchet.

The trunk of the tree crunched, and Toby yelled, "THIS BITCH GONNA TIMBER!" The group distanced themselves at Toby's shout, watching the tree plop into the snow with a thunk.

Y/N clapped her hands delightedly while Jeff and EJ stood stone-faced. Toby made a cartoonish bow, sheathing his hatchet into his belt.

"Let's get this back to the cabin before it starts snowing," Jeff said, walking over and gripping the top of the tree.

Toby shrugged and took the tree at the base, helping Jeff lift. EJ stood there and watched the struggle for a bit before going over and helping lift from the middle.

As they walked back to the cabin, with Y/N as their guide, Jeff would occasionally curse them out for jerking the tree around or walking too fast. Y/N would only chuckle, nudging Jeff in the arm whenever he lost his cool.

When the cabin came into view, Jeff let out a thankful sigh.

"Thank fuck," he grumbled.

Y/N chuckled, opening the front door.

"You're gonna have to force it inside," Y/N stated.

"Shouldn't we ask the house for consent?" Toby smirked, peeking out from behind the tree.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Jeff snapped, abruptly dropping the tree and making the other two stumble. He wasn't really mad; he just doesn't know how to take a joke.

Toby put his hands up, feigning surrender.

"I'm just saying! Isn't it bad to shove your timber in places without asking?" Toby asked with a laugh.

Jeff's eye twitched, and he picked up a ball of snow from the porch and started to chase Toby. Toby's eyes widened, and he let out a girly shrill, darting away.

"EEEEEE!" Toby shouted, stumbling to the ground.

"I'll shove this snow down your damn throat!" Jeff said, tackling Toby.
