the aftermath

this is set in season 3 when JB and Sarah break up after their argument and Sarah cheats on him. this idea was given to me by @ Birkley6. and i need more ideas y'all really running out!! might start to lean into season 4 storylines?

"my dad came back and he's trying to help all of us. and meanwhile your dad tried to kill you. and i'm sorry if you can't deal with that" his harsh words reeled in her head even days later.
It was there when she tried to stay at Kiaras house but got turned away.
It was there when she tried to find JJ but he wasn't home.
It was there when she drank beer straight from the pipe and Topper found her. Oh god Topper. Her first boyfriend, the boy who at first treated her like the princess she once was but turned evil as soon as she said the words "no". She knew she had messed up. big time, she knew she shouldn't have kissed him and the harsh words from John B rang around her head even then, they didn't leave for a long time.
The words were still there when she woke up the next day and she gladly reminded him of them the following day when she regretfully told him everything that happened and he had beaten Topper up for it.

Fast forward a few days and she had reasoned with Kiara and her parents and was finally allowed to stay over at her place as she had no where to go, they had planned to go to a party tonight as they needed a night out and Sarah especially needed a drink more than anything. "I just don't understand" Sarah began whilst getting changed "I know i was in the wrong and i told him that but i was honest with him and he was so horrible so surely we're both as bad as each other?" she rambled on.
"girl i don't know i love you both and i think it'll work out but for now let's just get ready for this party and you can drink your problems away" kiara reasoned.

A few hours later the girls had arrived at the kart and so far there was no Topper there. Although to Sarah's slight dismay there was no John B either. The duo walked up to the bar and ordered a round of shots, quickly downing 3 rounds of some kind of strong alcohol the girls began to feel the small buzz and felt slighty tipsy. They decided to go dance and as they were dancing Sarah noticed Topper out of the corner of her eye.
"more drinks. now!" she says dragging Kie by her arm. Kiara doesn't say anything and allows herself to be dragged away by her friend. Kiara just gets a beer as she doesn't want to get too drunk but Sarah decides she needs more shots followed by some kind of cocktail. Oh boy Kiara thinks to herself knowing she was in for a long night, they both then get another beer and go and sit on a wall opposite the bar.

By now Sarah was 6 shots, one cocktail and two beers in and was feeling it and just at the perfect time Topper comes up to her and starts talking.
"Hey Sarah watcha doin'?" he says in his annoying manner
Sarah try's her best to sound remotely sober and says "heyy topper nothin much just yaknow drinkin and shit" Kiara rolls her eyes at her friends attempt to sound not drunk. Sarah and Topper continue into conversation and suddenly Topper says "so what are we sarah?"
sarah looks confused "er nothing?"
"what does that mean?" topper says getting agitated
"it means we're nothing topper. it was a mistake i don't love you i'm sorry"
Topper begins to get mad and starts shouting at her. Kiara senses the drunken Sarah getting upset and tells Topper to kindly fuck off and takes her by the hand somewhere else, sometime between this and beginning to away Sarah makes a run for the bar again and grabs two more beers, one in each hand. Kiara loses sight of her and begins to get panicked but sees John B and JJ over the other side so quickly runs over to them to ask if they'd seen her. They shake their heads trying to seem unbothered but deep inside John B still loved her and knew how she got with drinking when she was upset so he quickly excused himself and walked towards the bar to try and find her.

Sarah was now into the second beer she took, technically her forth but anyway. She was now very obviously drunk and could hardly walk in a straight line. She walked away from the bar and in the distance she could see Kiara and JJ, meaning John B was here somewhere. She wanted to talk to him she needed him and she missed him so much, just thinking about him properly allowed her drunken mind to begin to sob. John B was still trying to find her, he sees a blonde girl slumped below a wall beginning to cry and knew instantly it was her. He instantly runs over and greets her. "hey hey sarah what's going on"
She looks up confused and realising it's him she begins to sob. "John B? i'm so sorry you hate me i know you do why are you here" she slurs and although it's bearly audible he understands every word
"Sarah i don't hate you i'm just upset" he says calmly
"i was upset too john b and i'm sorry i kissed him but i don't love him i love y- she was cut off by an uneasy feeling in her stomach and gagged. She threw up in the bush next to her and John B pulled her hair back.
"Come on, let's go somewhere quieter" he says and just picks her up as she was borderline paralytically drunk at this point.

Soon they reach a quiet space away from the crowd and people and Sarah begins to speak again "John B i- i love you" she sobs John B doesn't say anything and just takes her in a hug.
"Sarah look I think you've had way way too much to drink and you need some rest come on" he says
"no i'm okay i don't need rest. i don't have anywhere to stay anyway" she breathes
John B picks her up again and puts her in the twinkie and drives her back to the chateau. Upon arrival he carries her to his bedroom and lays her on his bed on her side with a bin underneath in case she needs to throw up again. "go to sleep Sar and we'll talk in the morning" he says before turning out the light.

The next morning Sarah wakes up with a splitting headache and a dry mouth, groaning she opens her eyes trying to remember what happened. She looks around and she realises she's at the chateau, but why? She thinks for a minute and suddenly everything clicks back into place she groans and falls back into the pillows hoping that she's imagining sobbing and vomiting in her ex boyfriends arms last night. And just like that  John B walks in the room with a glass of water and some advil
"thought you might need this" he says softly and sits gingerly on the edge of the bed.
"John B, i-im sorry about last night. but i meant it, i'm sorry and i do miss you and i do still love you"
John B looks into her eyes and reply's with a "i love you too Val" they scoot closer to each other.
"by the power invested in me, by the sky the stars and the sea. i REpronounce us husband and wife". They share a kiss on the lips and John B laughs "so how much did you actually drink last night?"
Sarah grimaces "god i think i had about 6 shots, two cocktails and about 5 beers?" i was desperate to stop thinking about you.

And suddenly it was like nothing had ever happened and Val and Vlad were back together once again.
