John B noticed that Rafe had a gun and that Ward had noticed her presence and quickly moved in front of her to save her from any sort of conflict. What he didn't know was that it was to late, when Rafe had shot the gun as a warning it had hit Sarah in the lower abdomen but neither one of them had noticed yet. Realising that they had the gold and had to get out of here John B quickly ushered Sarah into the truck. They quickly sped down some windy roads and drove into some tall crops. John B looked at Sarah excitedly and smiled "hey sarah, we did it we got the gold" but noticed he didn't quite meet her eyes. Sarah in all the shock hadn't noticed but now felt a damp patch on her shorts, confused she had put her hand there and felt a weird pain and when pulling her hand away noticed it was covered in blood. Realising John B was talking to her but not quite sure where this blood was coming from and was suddenly shocked with overwhelming pain and realised she'd been shot.

"i'm shot" she breathed to john b.

Reacting quickly he tells her to take off the shirt she was wearing and to press down on the wound. He helps her take it off as the shock has now worn off her meaning she was in excruciating pain, she groaned as he pulled the shirt off and put it on the wound "i'm sorry i'm sorry" he repeated as he did it. Once pressure was applied in an attempt to stop the bleeding she screamed out of pain, not quite sure what to do John B grabbed his phone and called Terrance. He gave him his location and quickly Captain T and Cleo showed up.

Sarah was now drastically bleeding out and John B quickly got out of the truck and Terrance gave him the details of a doctor. Not an official one but someone who could save Sarah, he didn't care who he saw he just needed Sarah to live. They decided to swap cars as Terrances was faster, John B carefully helped Sarah out of the truck and into the other one she was trying not to scream and cry and make a big scene but she'd never been in this much pain and started to feel lightheaded from the blood loss. Quick enough they said their goodbyes and zoomed back down the windy roads, JB was trying to be careful as to not hurt her anymore but the roads were making it harder "AH" a deathly scream roared from Sarah as she doubled over in pain. "i'm sorry sarah i'm sorry it's okay only 2 miles were nearly there just please keep the pressure on your wound" John B said trying to comfort her even though he was terrified himself.

Looking down at Sarah's shoes he realised that there was blood on them, on the floor and all down her leg. Not to mention the fact that her shorts were completely drenched as well as the shirt in her blood. His heart was pounding and breaking at the sound of Sarah crying and screaming in pain. He finally reached the place Terrance had sent them to and swerved into a car park as Sarah groaned and squeezed her eyes tightly. John B quickly got out of the truck and ran round the side Sarah was on and put one arm around her shoulder so he acted a bit like a crutch to help her walk. Blood dripped off of her and she left a trail of it as she walked, she was trying to be quiet to not make any more of a scene but the amount of pain she was in was extraordinary.

Knocking on the door aggressively John B demanded to be let in, then rang the door bell multiple times and a miserable voice came from the speaker.
"no one's home" he grunted.
"please sir, please my girlfriends been shot in the gut and she's bleeding out." John B said panicking
The man sighed and got them to look at the camera in the top left. Sarah could hardly move and was slumped against the door whimpering in pain. The man was shocked at the sight of her and realised that he couldn't let this 16 year old girl bleed out to death on his doorstep.
"aw he'll come on in up the stairs first door to your left" he had grunted.
John B took most of Sarah's weight and led her up the stairs, she didn't care anymore and was crying and screaming as loud as she needed to.
Over her crying John B shouted "doc! doc! where are you?" They heard a man in the distance and followed the voice into a creepy room.

After defining that it definitely wasn't her head that had been shot he got her to lay down on the table and take the shirt off. She screamed in pain once again "John B, john B help" she said scared. Trying his best to comfort her he took her hand and assured her that she was going to be okay. The "doctor" assessed her wound and realised that she was bleeding internally. Sarah had passed out at this point and had been given some anaesthesia to stay asleep and to keep the pain off.
"Now she's bleeding a little on the outside and a lot on the inside, I can do the surgery but I cannot guarantee that she will survive" The doc said solemnly.
"just do whatever you can to save her" John B sobbed.

45 minutes later the surgery was complete, Sarah was hooked up to an IV and they were waiting on her to wake up. John B held her hand anxiously and felt it twitch, he jumped slightly and turned to look at her eyes.
"hey sleepyhead" he said softly.
"John B?" she said confused and looked around with her eyes "i can't feel anything she slurred"
"it's okay sarah it's okay, your gonna be okay and we'll get out of this creepy doctors office and it'll be okay" he was half convincing himself aswell as her. Sarah took a short breath and said
"if i don't make it i-"
she was cut off by John B assuring her that nothing was going tk happen "don't even talk like that" he told her firmly as her eyes fluttered shut. Her heart monitor started making beeping noises. The noise that no one wants to hear. Ever.

"doc? DOC!" John B screamed and the dr sprinted over to him
"oh hell she's had too much fluid" he said quickly unhooking her and running to get the oxygen mask "okay quickly you pump this and i'll begin CPR".
John B couldn't believe this was happening, as he pumped oxygen into his girlfriend's lungs the tears started to flow and he was so so scared. They switched positions and John B started the CPR. After 5 minutes of this Sarah's heart just wasn't restarting, the reality set in and realised that Sarah might not be alive.
"it's too late kid" the doc confirmed.
John B wasn't having it, he tried again. and again. and again. Screaming "Sarah wake up" "come on wake up please" "i can't do this without you" he threw a chair across the room angrily and then collapsed at her side shakily crying. He kissed her on the lips and stroked her face and he swear just for a moment he felt life in her. Just at that moment he heard the heart monitor start beeping once again. He shouted for the doc who couldn't believe it. Sarah was alive.

She shot up confused and looked around, then winced in pain remembering that she had literally been shot but had no idea that she had just died for a few minutes.
"hey, Sarah your alive" John B said smiling and trying to get her to lie back down.
She winced in pain but leaned over to kiss him, she wanted to leave as soon as possible so tried to ignore the pain that she was in. Knowing that it would get worse as the anaesthetic wore off.

4 hours later John B and Sarah were back on their boat and Sarah was sat in front napping but woke up wincing. John B anchored the boat and went to go sit with her "you good" he asked "never better" she replied grimacing.
"Hey John B? Wanna get married?" she said smiling slightly. He agreed of course and although only 16 he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He tore a piece of his bandana off and tied it around her wrist as a "token of his love", as he had said to her."it's perfect she smiled at him."

They looked at each other deep into one another's eyes until Sarah spoke.
"By the power invested in me, by the sky, the stars and the sea, I now pronounce us husband and wife" she said smiling.
John B continued "Through sickness and health, through rich and poor. Till death do us part."
"You may kiss your bride" Sarah said, still grinning. And John B leant in for a kiss.

This is from the episode where Sarah gets shot (obviously) but i thought i should end it on a happy note because i love that scene so much.  happy reading and keep the ideas coming 💗
