Prying my eye lids open once again, I look up at the dim light bulb.

I'm dehydrated; my body gave up half a day ago.

Honestly speaking, I'm not sure if it even was a half day.

I look at the water and food laying on the floor in front of me, there's no point of thinking about it because I'm still tied up.

I wonder if Aldric is wondering where I am right now.

I feel like if they took him as well, he would've already found some way to get out and help me. He must be looking for me, I don't think he would give up until he finds me.

My eyes look around the room, taking in every single detail. The room is plain, empty, not a single interesting thing in here.

My mind goes back to the mysterious guy, who is he and what in the world was he talking about?

There is no me and him, there will be never me and him in this world, nor in any world. He has been hurting us, numerous times and he expects me to what, love him?

Absolutely not.

My attention is snapped back to reality when the lights suddenly turn off, I squint my eyes trying to adjust to the darkness.

But it's quite impossible when even the window is sealed with tape and wood.

The door opens up, I hear the sound of footsteps approaching me. My shoulders stiffen as they get closer and closer by each step.

"Hey, sunshine." The same voice from earlier rasps, I seal my lips shut, I would rather die than entertain him by talking back.

"No hello back? How sad." I can practically hear the fake frown, I bite my lower lip, trying to stay focused on my number one priority.

Try to figure out who he is.

He tsks, walking behind me, his knuckles brush my temple as he pushes the blindfold back on, "I don't like this silent treatment of yours." He mumbles.

He moves back in front of me, bending down. His hands rests on my knees, I fight the urge to scream at him to get his filthy hands off of me.

"I have a surprise for you." His voice is laced with some sort of emotion, my brows furrow at his words.

I don't answer him, but I tilt my head, letting him know that I am indeed, all ears.

"Come in." I inhale sharply as I hear the door creak open, I expect to see the shine of light from outside, but I don't.

They're smart.

I bite my lower lip harder, nervousness clear in every part of my body. My head whips towards the footsteps, the person walking too slow for my liking. I'm being teased, a lot.

I feel knuckles brush against my cheek, moving down to my jaw— where he grips it roughly, "I'll leave you with him, don't do anything I'd punish you for, alright baby?" My face scrunches up in disgust at the nickname.
