It's been weeks since the incident, it's been weeks of constant panic attacks, anxiety attacks and crying.
Weeks of healing and accepting, and finally I have decided to go back to normal.
First move? Go back to the café.
Working at the café has always managed to calm me down, being my own safe place in this world. I have friends to talk to, while also doing something I love, making drinks and food.
I stand behind the cash register, looking at the filled café.
I haven't been here in what feels like forever.
Adam exits the staff room, standing next to me with his usual perfect posture.
"Hey, I've missed you, how are you?" His doe eyes soften, yet there's something lying behind his eyes.
Worry? Relief?
I cannot pinpoint it, but I ignore it as I send him a soft smile, "Oh, I'm fine! Back on track and ready to rack!" I cringe at my lame attempt at a joke.
Gosh.
Adam laughs, pinching my cheek softly, "I've missed you." His white teeth flash me.
I laugh softly, going back to work.

It's been hours and I have yet to leave the café, same with Adam.
Usually, the café wouldn't be this piled up with so many people on a random Thursday, but apparently there's a very famous band coming today to sponsor the place?
Well, that's according to Lorelai, who has yet to return from the hospital.
Sadness fills my chest; God please don't let anything bad happen to Lorelai.
I look at the big clock on the wall, 10:39PM. Are they coming today or tomorrow at this point?
Almost as if they were reading my thoughts, the bells chime and five men enter the place.
Five men I've seen way too many times to count.
A big grin escapes my lips as I make eye contact with one, the one that I've done more than just speaking with.
Phantom skips towards me and I immediately burst out laughing, the people around us joining in.
He leans on the counter smiling brightly, "Hey kiddo, how are you!" His question has a meaning behind it, but his tone is covering it.
My smile doesn't fade away, "I'm okay, healing. What about you?" I'm not lying, but I don't actually know how I'm doing.
Phantom rocks back and forth on his heels, "I've been good, crazy amount of pressure on me because of.. someone." He side eyes Aldric, who makes his way towards us with Lucas.
