Conner and I had to move quickly to keep up with the others since we were the furthest from the enemy base; fortunately we were also the most mobile since I could fly and Conner could just leap over anything.

"There it is," he said once the plant covered building came into view. "What now?"

I shrugged, "I think we just wait for the signal."

"Miss Martian, Superboy, Supergirl. Now."

"And there it is."

"You wanna do the honors?" He asked, pointing to the wall.

I cracked my knuckles, "don't mind if I do." I let out a grunt as I punched the wall, completely demolishing it. "Knock knock."

Mallah growled at us as the albino wolf leapt over our heads and attacked him. Wally rushed in and kicked him before speeding away to avoid getting shot as Robin swung by and kicked him in the face. I flew in and uppercutted him, sending him into the air and allowing M'gann to catch him and slam him back to the ground. "That was for breaking my arm," I growled before going to help Kaldur with the Brain. I saw Kaldur's shield get destroyed by the lasers the Brain was shooting off and moved to intercept one that would have gotten him. Right as I lined up with the shot the itchiness returned in full force, but this time instead of just being there, there was a heat to it. A heat that shot forth to meet the laser and fry the blaster portion of the Brain's body. Realizing I had unlocked my heat vision I twisted my head before I destroyed any more of the machine-man's body, inadvertently causing quite a bit of damage to the walls around us, before I thought to close my eyes.

"Well that explains the itchiness you were complaining about," I heard Robin say, and smirked as I quirked an eyebrow in his direction.

"You don't say? Point me at them." I felt his hands on my shoulders as he complied with my request.

"Fire when ready."

I heard Mallah roar at us and could only guess that we had the two surrounded. This was confirmed when Conner cracked his knuckles and said, "try it. I hate monkeys."

"He really does, so please do try."

Mallah growled at us but the Brain stopped him. "No Mallah. This will not be our waterloo." I heard some clicking and mechanical whirring as he continued. "Aur revoir, mes amis."

"Get down!"

I tensed in preparation, but when nothing happened for a few seconds I asked, "did something happen?"

"Wait, so that big weapon thing was a light switch?"

I turned my head to the ground and cautiously opened my eyes. When nothing happened I looked up at the others. Artemis and Wally flinched when they saw me looking at them but relaxed when my heat vision didn't show. I glanced over my shoulder at Robin to find him already looking at me. "You know your eyes are glowing red, right?"

"That would explain the odd feeling in my eyes right now."

Conner clapped my shoulder, surprising me, "about time for the heat vision am I right?"

I smiled at him and nodded, "now let's get these collars off."

I was stroking my eagle's head as I walked beside Robin to the bioship. "You know, Kaldur really didn't have any malicious intent when he decided to keep the mole thing a secret."

"And how do you know for sure?" There was no accusation in his tone, just weariness and curiosity.

"Because, like I said before, I actually heard his answer. And I think you'll find most, if not all, of your questions answered if you listen too." He looked down in thought, processing my words, and as we stepped up the ramp he stopped to wait for Kaldur and the others to finish.
