"Hee-ya! Ha!" Robin threw a punch at me, followed by a kick that I did a back handspring to avoid. Kaldur followed up with a strike of his own that I blocked before attacking Robin.

I followed him and spun around to land a kick on Kaldur's back. He avoided it and we all backed away from each other before dropping our stances as the training ended.

I glanced over at Conner and M'gann as they walked in together with Wolf. "You know they're a couple right?" Robin whispered to us.

"I believe I knew before they did."

"You'd have to be blind to not know. Or oblivious," I amended as Artemis and Wally walked in. I scratched Sierra's chin as she landed on my shoulder.

"Do we tell them?"

"It is not our place."

"Oh come on Kaldur," I groaned. "I really don't know how much more of this I can take."

As the two of them walked up Wally pointed at the Leaguers, "so if Zatara's our babysitter for the week, why's he still here? And why is he eating my snacks?" I shrugged as the Zeta-tube fired up.

Recognized: Batman 02

"Computer: national news," he ordered before he had even fully materialized. A holoscreen popped up in the center of the room showing Cat Grant.

"The initial attack was short lived, but Metropolis was only granted a short reprieve." We watched as giant green vines destroyed a building in Metropolis before the footage changed to a shot of Dad saving people. "And despite the intervention of Superman and the Justice League, there seems to be no end in sight."

"Should we get out there?" Robin asked, and I mirrored his eagerness; I was already itching to help my city.

"No. The League will soon have the situation under control. That's not why I'm here." He pulled up a picture of Sportsmaster. I only knew him through reading the mission reports as the others had faced him before I joined. "According to your intel Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus's Blockbuster formula to Kobra."

"Who combined it with Bane's Venom to create Kobra-Venom."

"Which the Brain used to create his animal army."

"And upgrade Wolf." I smiled at Conner as he patted his companion.

"The Brain also used inhibitor collars. Like the ones at Belle Reve Penitentiary."

"Batman. Is it possible that plant thingie's on Kobra-Venom too?"

"I had Green Lantern run a spot analysis. The vine's cellulose does contain trace amounts of a Kobra-Venom variant," he confirmed, bringing up an image of the chemical variant.

"These cannot be coincidences. Unrelated villains are cooperating with each other worldwide."

"Exactly. It's now clear our enemies have created some sort of secret society of supervillains. The attack on Metropolis is only the beginning."

"I'll say." I looked at Robin as he pulled up more holoscreens, each one of a different city. "Plant creatures have sprouted in Gotham City, Paris, Star City, Taipei-"

The screens suddenly cut out, stopping him from continuing. "Dude," Wally said, thinking Robin was pulling a joke.

"It's not me. Someone's cutting into the satellite signal. All satellite signals." He barely got that out before the static stopped. But I wished it hadn't, as now the Joker's ugly smiling face was now displayed five times over.

He knocked on what must have been his camera lens, probably to get everyone's attention, before speaking. "Ladies and gentlemen. We interrupt your regularly scheduled mayhem to bring you this important announcement." He pulled out a switchblade and turned the camera to show six other wanted supervillains. "From the Injustice League."
