"I had this prepared when you started out as a hero, and now that all your powers came in I was thinking now might be a good time for a change," Dad said as he put a box down in front of me. "And Conner, I know you said 'no tights' but I was hoping you would give this a try?" Conner looked at the slightly larger box Dad put in front of him.
"No capes no tights. No offense."
I rolled my eyes and opened mine. "Oh, I like this already." Grabbing the new suit I dashed into my room to get changed, making a small mess, but I could just pick that up later. Once changed I came back out and posed with my hands on my hips.

"I really like this now. Come on Conner, give it a try."
"No," he responded, crossing his arms.
"Come on. At least try it on. See if it fits. Ple~ase."
He stared at me for a moment before grimacing and grabbing the suit. "Fine."
"Yay!"
"How did you do that?" Dad asked once Conner had closed the door.
"Never underestimate the power of puppy eyes and cuteness," I sagely replied. "It works on you. Had to work on him too."
Dad looked at me and rolled his eyes, "no it doesn't."
"Yeah it does," Mom and I corrected.
They're right," we all heard Conner say from the bathroom.
Dad threw his hands up in frustration, "I just can't win today."
"Nope," the three of us chimed. He scoffed and plopped onto the couch, pouting.
A minute later we heard Conner sigh. "Alright, I'll admit: this is a nice look."
"Well, come on out here and show us."

"What do you think?"
I put my hand on his shoulder, "this is so you." I tapped the emblem, turning all of the red to a deep maroon and nodded, satisfied. "Stealth mode looks good too. Now let's see mine." I tapped my own emblem and watched as the entire suit turned jet-black, with only the maroon shield retaining any color. "Sweetness."
