Chapter 24: Orion Ascendant: Starlight Redemption

One year had passed since Abisai's transformation into the Orion Knight. He had spent countless hours perfecting his knight form and mastering three secret techniques that would aid him in the battles to come. Kaisan and Austria, his mentors, stood before him, their faces filled with pride and admiration.

"Abisai, you have shown tremendous growth and dedication," Kaisan said, his voice filled with emotion. "You and Ashley have both proven yourselves to be worthy knights, and now it's time for the final trial: the rank of leadership."

Austria nodded in agreement. "Only one of you can lead this group and become the new generation of Haven Knights. The choice will not be easy, but it must be made."

Just as Kaisan was about to explain the trial, Mida, the Knight of Unicorn, interrupted him. "I propose a different trial," Mida said, her voice dripping with malice. "A trial by combat. Let all the knights face each other, and the strongest will emerge as the leader."

Lily's eyes widened in outrage. "That's barbaric!" she exclaimed. Tony, who had mastered the cosmic Force and maintained his own knight form, nodded in agreement. "I'm not ready to lead, but I'm not going to back down from a challenge either."

Mida sneered at Tony. "Are you a coward, then?" she taunted.

Tony's face turned bright red as he protested, "No, I'm not a coward!"

Kaisan intervened, his voice firm. "Enough, Mida. It's clear that you're itching for a rematch against Abisai. Very well, I'll let you have it."

Abisai looked at Kaisan in confusion. "Why are you doing this? I thought we had overcome our differences before."

Mida's expression turned cold. "It's not about honor, Abisai. It's about whether you have the will to lead us as a true leader. Your older brother, Basil, was more qualified to be a leader than you'll ever be."

Abisai's eyes narrowed. "I'm not fighting you, Mida."

Mida smirked, grabbing her spear. "Then I'll fight you," she said, charging at Abisai.

Abisai drew his sword, Shellaluna, and blocked Mida's attacks. With a swift counterattack, he struck Mida with the Sword of Orion, sending her stumbling back.

Mida's eyes flashed with anger. "You want to play it that way?" she snarled. "Fine, I'll give you a rematch. But this time, only one of us will walk away victorious."

Abisai stood tall, his sword at the ready. "I'm not going to hold back, Mida. Let's end this once and for all."

Abisai's eyes locked onto Mida's, searching for answers. "Mida, what's going on? Why are you doing this? What do you hope to gain by fighting me?"

Mida's expression remained enigmatic, her voice devoid of emotion. "Armor...Link...Activate!"
