Chapter 21: Reinforcements Arrive
As sunlight spilled across the horizon, three figures moved purposefully through the mist. Sirous wielded shuriken that gleamed like scorpion armor, while Mida, majestic in her violet-purple armor, carried a spear adorned with diamond-like patterns that shimmered in the morning light. The third figure, Kaisan, stood tall, his presence commanding respect.
Omega Dragon sneered from his perch, his eyes narrowing at the newcomers. "Who are you supposed to be?"
Angel, an enigmatic figure cloaked in shadows, interjected, "You're the remaining Perdolians, and knights, I presume."
The knights remained silent, their focus unbroken.
Kaisan stepped forward, eyes flashing with determination. "Relinquish Abisai and Ashley, and we'll spare you this time."
Angel smirked, crossing his arms. "Interesting proposition. But I sense you lack extraordinary powers. What can a simple Perdolian man with a ragged cape do?"
Kaisan, undeterred, assumed a majestic stance, hands poised for action.
Omega Dragon scoffed. "What does that stance mean, old man?"
Kaisan's eyes shone with conviction. "This represents defeat with a single fist!"
Without warning, Omega Dragon charged, unleashing his signature move, "Dragon Fury!"
Kaisan opened his eyes, releasing a blinding wave of energy. "You are idiots! Ginga Iteza!"
The force of light exploded forth, transforming into millions of radiant beams that formed the shimmering image of the Consolation Sagittarius. Omega Dragon and Angel stumbled back, momentarily blinded by the brilliance.
"This is impossible!" Omega Dragon exclaimed, shielding his eyes.
Angel, struggling to regain his composure, barked, "We've never seen this before!"
"Sirous, Mida, retrieve Abisai and Ashley quickly!" Kaisan commanded.
Sirous unleashed his signature technique, "Red Eye Beam Scorpion!" The powerful beam surged forward, pushing Omega Dragon and Angel aside and causing the building behind them to tremble.
"Go, now!" Kaisan shouted as they made their escape.
As they sprinted away, Omega Dragon growled, "Those guys packed a punch."
Angel, his mind racing, realized the implications. "This is Earth, and there are more Perdolians. The ones who escaped Haven a thousand years ago. They have what we came for."
Omega Dragon raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Are you really that daft? The Book of Prophecy!" Angel hissed.
With newfound urgency, he added, "We've been outsmarted!"
Omega Dragon snarled, "We'll return, stronger."
Kaisan watched the villains retreat, his expression stern. "The battle's far from over."
Mida approached, a relieved smile on her face. "Abisai and Ashley are safe."
Kaisan nodded, "Our mission's just beginning."
Sirous stood tall, determination etched on his features. "You better go before they come looking for us."
The three knights exchanged determined glances, the stage set for an epic struggle.
