Chapter 15 Title: Redemption at Dawn

As the first light of dawn broke through the thick canopy of trees, Ashley sat in the cramped cabin of the Angel and Omega dragon, surrounded by the Kruzanagi residents. They watched her intently, waiting for her to reveal the purpose that had brought her to their world.

I am here to search and destroy, Ashley began, her voice trembling with emotion. I have traveled from planet to planet, eliminating all life in my path, all because of the Emperor of Calamity's orders. But I did not find pleasure in it, I was forced to do it against my will.

Basil, the leader of the Kruzanagi, spoke up for her. They are looking for the Book of Prophecy.

How do you know? Ashley asked, surprise evident in her voice.

I was there when my planet, Haven, was invaded by the dark Haven Empire, Basil explained. I saw the devastation they caused, and I know they are searching for the book as well.

But why travel to different planets without knowing if the book is even there? Professor Green questioned.

Because the heroes of legend gave Princess Austria the remote planet locations that were Havens for the Pedolians, Ashley replied. The Emperor believes that the book holds the key to a wish that only a royal with Royal blood can access.

Lily, one of the Kruzanagi residents, spoke up. What is the Emperor's objective? Why does he seek this power?

I do not know his true motives, Ashley admitted. All I know is that he is ruthless in his pursuit of the book. He believes that it holds the power to grant him unimaginable wishes, and he will stop at nothing to obtain it.

As the conversation continued, the group realized that there may be more Pedolians in hiding, just like Basil. But with the Emperor of Calamity hunting them down, their survival was far from guaranteed.

The sun rose higher in the sky, casting its golden light across the cabin and illuminating the faces of those gathered. It was clear that they would need to work together, combining their strengths and knowledge, to stand a chance against the powerful Emperor and his forces.

And so, as the dawn brought a sense of hope and redemption to their weary souls, Ashley and the Kruzanagi residents began to plan their next move. The fate of their world and the Book of Prophecy hung in the balance, and they knew that they must act swiftly to protect what was precious to them.

But as they prepared to face the challenges ahead, a glimmer of determination sparkled in Ashley's eyes. She was ready to confront her past and fight for a future where darkness would be defeated, and light would prevail. The redemption dawned upon them, setting them on a path toward a destiny that was yet to be written.

Ashley was mesmerized by the beauty of the flame flowers, their vibrant colors and delicate petals captivating her attention. She turned to Amelia with a puzzled expression and asked, What are these objects? Are they alive?

Amelia smiled warmly and replied, Those are flame flowers. They symbolize friendship and love for someone you care about. They are quite rare and special.

Meanwhile, back at Catherine's house in the Krusanagi residence, Catherine examined Basil's injured arm with a somber expression. She gently explained, I'm sorry, Basil. There's nothing more I can do. My medical treatment is beyond my experience as a doctor. The elixir can heal wounds, but it can't regrow limbs. I'm truly sorry.

Basil offered her a reassuring smile and said, It's alright, Catherine. I've faced worse before. He glanced at his missing arm, a flicker of determination in his eyes. What do you suggest I do then? I can't just sit back and do nothing.

Catherine hesitated for a moment before explaining, You need to rest and refrain from using your arm link to transform into your knight form. Your body is still recovering, and any strain could worsen your condition.

As Abisai examined his armor, a mix of the Sword of Orion and the gauntlets, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease. He confronted Basil, Why did you tell me not to use the gauntlet and the sword? I felt a strong pull towards them.

Basil sighed wearily, Because you weren't ready. You haven't fully mastered the cosmic force within you. You must learn to control your power before using such advanced weaponry.

Abisai persisted, But I can't just stand by while you fight. We need to work together as a team.

Basil's gaze hardened as he replied, This isn't a game, Abisai. This is war. I will train you properly, but you must be patient and disciplined.

As Abisai approached Ashley and Amelia, he struck up a conversation. You don't talk much, do you? he asked Ashley.

Ashley confessed, I haven't spoken in a thousand years, ever since I was trapped in my own mind with a gem embedded in my head. Memories elude me, and I'm still trying to piece together my past.
