*Chapter 19: Rebirth and Resolve*
Five years had passed since Basil's heroic sacrifice, yet Starfall City still reeled from the devastation wrought by Angel and Omega Dragon. The once-peaceful streets now lay in ruins, a constant reminder of the ongoing war.
Abisai, now 19, stood resolute, his eyes burning with determination. Training tirelessly with the Sword of Orion, he vowed to stop Angel and Omega Dragon, regardless of the cost. His thoughts were a jumble of questions: Where did they come from? Why did they terrorize Earth? But one thing was certain - they threatened humanity, and Abisai would protect it.
*A Promise Remembered*
A flashback transported Abisai back to his poignant meeting with Sage Lysandra. With trembling hands, he had asked to wield the Sword of Stellaluna. Sage Lysandra's gentle smile still echoed in his mind. "My old sword." Abisai's eyes welled up as he pledged, "I'll get stronger, stronger than Basil! I'll reach the heavens!" Sage Lysandra's expression softened. "The sword is yours, Abisai."
*Reality's Call*
The memory faded, leaving Abisai standing amidst the Sacred Mountains' rugged landscape. His dual sword style training intensified, sweat dripping from his brow. Each strike was a promise to Basil, to himself and to the people of Starfall City.
*Allies Forged*
Nearby, Sirius and Mida trained under Kaisan's guidance. Basil's sacrifice weighed heavily on their hearts, fueling their resolve. United in grief, they strove to honor his memory.
*Knights Awakened*
Sirius transformed into the Knight of Scorpio, flames dancing across his Shuriken. Mida became the Knight of Unicorn, her diamond aura Ascension encasing her body. Spears clashed, sparks flying as they honed their skills.
*Signature Moves Unleashed*
Sirius summoned the Consolation of Scorpio - a piercing red beam reminiscent of a Special Beam Cannon. Mida unleashed Unicorn Diamond Lantern, her spear shining with diamonds. The earth trembled beneath their feet.
In a dimly lit, eerie cavern, Angel's eyes widened in shock, his face pale. "What did you say?" he demanded, his voice trembling.
Embryo's calm response echoed through the comms device, sending shivers down Angel's spine. "The Emperor of Calamity is coming to Earth to finish what you two couldn't."
Omega Dragon snarled, "We killed a Haven Knight, not to mention he was tough!" His voice reverberated off the cavern walls.
Embryo corrected him, "Wrong. That knight blew both of you into a building, and his body and remains are still unfound. Can you explain that?" Her tone was laced with intrigue.
Omega Dragon pleaded, "Please, tell the Emperor to give us a chance. We can bring one alive and then tell us the location." His desperation hung in the air.
Angel's anger flared, insulted by his comrade's weakness. Embryo's intrigued response only fueled his anxiety. "I can promise you, whether the Emperor comes or not, I'll give you 24 hours to find me a Haven Knight and force him to reveal the Pergolian's base location. Over and out."
The transmission ended abruptly, plunging the cavern into silence.
Angel's fury boiled over, his scythe pressing Omega Dragon into the ground. "Do you realize the humiliation you've put us through? Begging against an AI Android?" The cavern's shadows seemed to darken.
Omega Dragon activated Third Gear, shoving Angel aside. "I did you a favor! The Emperor won't insult us like last time. Besides, she gave us 24 hours to find another Pergolian."
