Fourteen-year-old Jeongguk sat in the chair, arms crossed and an annoyed expression on his face, as Principal Wooshik paced back and forth in his office. The Alpha was trying—and failing—to get through to the boy, who seemed more interested in staring at the ceiling than listening to the lecture.

"Jeongguk," Wooshik said for the third time, his tone stern, "you cannot keep behaving like this. You're intelligent, no one denies that, but intelligence without discipline will only get you so far."

The boy didn't respond, his dark eyes scanning the certificates and plaques on the walls instead.

"Are you even listening to me?" Wooshik asked, stopping in front of him.

Jeongguk finally glanced at him, his lips curling into a grin. "Not really."

Wooshik sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. This boy was going to give him gray hairs. "Fine. If you won't take me seriously, I'll have no choice but to call Taehyung."

That got his attention. Jeongguk's eyes widened, and he sat up straighter in his chair. "Don't call him" he exclaimed, panic clear in his voice. "I'll behave I promise!"

"Oh, now you're ready to listen?" Wooshik asked, crossing his arms.

Jeongguk nodded quickly, his earlier defiance replaced by genuine worry. "Yes, yes, I'll listen. Just don't call him."

Wooshik shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips despite himself. "You're something else, kid. You act like you don't care about anything, but the moment I bring up Taehyung, you start behaving."

Jeongguk shrugged, avoiding his gaze. "He already has enough to deal with. I don't want to make things harder for him."

Wooshik's expression softened slightly at the boy's words. He knew how much Jeongguk respected Taehyung.

"Listen," Wooshik said, pulling up a chair to sit across from him, "you're not just any kid, Jeongguk. You're a true-blood Alpha. That comes with responsibilities, whether you like it or not. You need to set an example for others." He can tell by his scent that filled the room.

Jeongguk scoffed, shaking his head. "I'm not a true-blood Alpha. Those only show up once every hundred years, and I'm not lucky enough to be one."

Wooshik raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And why do you think that?"

"Because true-blood Alphas are supposed to be honest and responsible," Jeongguk said matter-of-factly. "I lie all the time. I do stupid things behind my hyung's back. I'm not some perfect leader"

Wooshik stared at him, stunned by the boy's blunt honesty. "You're... surprisingly self-aware for someone your age."

"Of course" Jeongguk grinned "Can I go now?"

Wooshik sighed, waving him off. "Fine. But if I hear about one more incident like this, I'll call Taehyung. No excuses."

Jeongguk didn't wait for him to change his mind. He bolted out of the office, the door slamming shut behind him.

As Wooshik leaned back in his chair, he couldn't help but smile. That boy was a handful, but there was something remarkable about him.

Jeongguk's honesty, even in his defiance, was a rare trait—and Wooshik couldn't help but wonder what kind of Alpha he would grow up to be.

Later that evening , Taehyung was in his office, surrounded by stacks of papers and files. The responsibilities of being Luna never seemed to end, and today had been particularly overwhelming.

The sound of hesitant footsteps outside the office door broke his concentration, he knows who is it by the scent that hit his nose, Without looking up, he called out, "gguk, come in."

The door creaked open, and Jeongguk stepped inside, looking uncharacteristically nervous.

"What is it, Ggukie?" Taehyung asked, setting down his pen.

Jeongguk fidgeted with his fingers, his gaze fixed on the floor. "I... wanted to say sorry. For, um, anything you might have heard from school today."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair. "I didn't hear anything from school today. Should I have?"

Jeongguk froze, realizing he had just given himself away. "No! I mean—uh—nothing happened. Forget I said anything!" He said and turned around to leave.

Taehyung's lips twitched in amusement. "Ggukie," he said, his tone both firm and gentle, "what did you do?"

Jeongguk groaned, slumping into the chair across from the desk. "I... might have pulled the fire alarm. But it was an accident! Kind of."

Taehyung sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Jeongguk, you can't keep doing things like this. You're smart, and you have so much potential, but you need to think about the consequences of your actions."

"I know, hyung," Jeongguk muttered, guilt evident in his voice. "I'll do better. I promise."

Taehyung's expression softened as he walked around the desk, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I believe you, Ggukie. But promises mean nothing if you don't follow through. You need to start taking responsibility for your actions."

Jeongguk looked up, meeting Taehyung's gaze. "I will. I'll make you proud, hyung."

Taehyung smiled, ruffling the boy's hair. "You already do, Ggukie. Now go wash up for dinner."

Jeongguk nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips as he left the office.

As the Family gathered in the dining hall, Jeongguk found himself sitting next to Mingyu, his closest friend and partner in crime.

"You're lucky Wooshik didn't call your hyung," Mingyu whispered, smirking. He is saying the night.

Jeongguk shot him a glare. "Shut up. It's your fault I got in trouble in the first place."

"My fault? You're the one who pulled the alarm!"

"Yeah, because you dared me to!"

Their bickering was interrupted by Taehyung's voice. "Jeongguk, Mingyu, is there something you'd like to share with the rest of us?"

Both boys froze, turning to see Taehyung watching them with a raised eyebrow.

"No, hyung," Jeongguk said quickly, nudging Mingyu to keep quiet.

Taehyung shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Just eat your dinner, you two."

Jimin looked up from his plate as he parted his lips to speak "Hoseok couldn't came four years ago because of some problems that were still there, so He may come home tomorrow"

The Luna turned his attention to Jimin "yeah he is calling me everyday saying he feels guilty"

"Who is Hoseok?" Jeongguk inquired, chewing his food.

"My friend and pack's doctor, he is staying at Choi's pack for some reason, and its been long time" Taehyung answered as he patted jeongguk's hair "he is your hyung, gguk, better call him hyung next time, hmm" And the boy nodded in response.

As the meal continued, Jeongguk couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that Taehyung is not still angry at him over the thing he did in school, He knew he still had a lot to learn.
