Having a Sunday evening
to himself felt strange.

Normally Kuroo would be over
and cuddling him to death while
they'd watch a movie or Kenma
would play something
on his Switch.

And he didn't like to admit it but
he had gotten so used to the older's
presence on the weekends,
especially after the baby news,
that he felt a bit lonely now that
Kuroo was out with Bokuto.

There was this bad feeling lingering
in the pit of his stomach too as if
something bad was about to
happen but he just didn't know
what to do about it.

He trusted Kuroo,
it'd be just fine and they'd
see each other in the morning
again to go to school together.

Kenma sighed heavily as he
readjusted his cat plushie in his
arms and placed his Switch aside
after losing another round again.

As long as he had this bad feeling,
he just couldn't concentrate.

And just when he was about to
get a snack refill, his phone
suddenly started buzzing.

‘Kuroo is calling..’

“Kuroo?”

“Hey kitten~
My little kitten..
So gorgeous and pretty and so..
so gorgeous.”

Kuroo giggled on the other side
before he hiccuped, making
Kenma frown.

“Kuroo, did you drink?
Where's Bokuto?”

“You know a Bokuto?
That's funny.. My friend's
name is Bokuto too. Such a co..
coincidence! Right?”

Kenma breathed in heavily as he
tried to stay calm and thought
about what to ask next that might
give him an actual answer of
what was going on.

“Kitten~
You're so pretty!
I really like how you look
pregnant and I.. Have you
ever wondered what
your mouth tastes like?”

“Kuroo, where are you?
Where's Bokuto? Is he next to you?”

“No, he.. He went to get another
drink for us but I just missed you
sooo much! You and our baby and
your pretty eyes and..
And our baby too!”

Who would have guessed that
going out with Bokuto would
result in complete mayhem?

If Kenma had known beforehand
that the two were going to drink,
he'd have at least tried to protest.

It wasn't like he'd forbid Kuroo
any fun, he wouldn't have stopped
him from going either because he
was not in the place to do
something like that.

But he'd have kindly reminded
him to be careful.

It wasn't a secret that Bokuto
liked to go all in and Kuroo
wasn't used to any form of
alcohol consumption.

It was his first time after all.

“Do you know where you are?
I'll pick you up. Tomorrow is school
day, I guess you forgot about that.”
