“Kenma?”

“Hm?”

The blonde turned around at the
voice of his mother and raised his
brows when she only smiled at him.

“Kuroo will pick you up soon, right?”

“Yeah, in ten minutes.”

“Alright, have fun.
You look very pretty.”

She winked at her son,
making Kenma scrunch up his
face in pretended disgust.

But truth to be told,
he was really happy about
his mother's compliment.

He rarely put so much effort into
his appearance but today
was a very special day.

It was the 24th December and
Kuroo had asked him out on a date.

The 24th was the Japanese version
of valentine's day so Kenma shouldn't
have been that surprised but they
weren't a couple that normally
went on dates.

So hearing it from Kuroo that
he wanted to take him out on a
date had made him feel all
shy and embarrassed.

He wasn't sure if he wanted to go
out when literally every other
couple in Japan was going out too,
not when he was obviously young
and obviously pregnant.

But could he say no to his
boyfriend’s charming smile?

No.

A soft sigh escaped the blonde
as he checked his hair one last
time in the mirror and pulled his
hoodie down even more in hope
that it'd change anything about
his baby bump's obviousness but
of course it was no use.

Their baby was there and
did not want to be hidden.

So he grabbed his bag and made
his way downstairs to put his coat
and shoes on, which had also begun
to take longer now that he had to sit
down like a grandpa to tie his laces.

He couldn't crouch and lean over,
his little one was simply in

the way to do that.

And just when he was done,
Kuroo was already ringing
the doorbell.
“Kitten!”

The ravenette smiled widely
at the sight of his boyfriend and
couldn't help but blush a bit because
Kenma looked really beautiful.

“Your hair looks so pretty!”

Kuroo whined as he took a step
closer to cup the younger's face
and brushed a stray strand of
blonde hair behind his ear.

His hair had grown quite a bit
the past months and was definitely
shoulder length by now so Kenma
had decided to braid two strands to
tie them into a small bun.

And he had obviously succeeded
because Kuroo liked it a lot.

You look handsome too.”
