If he had to decide what
actually woke him up, it was
probably the strong headache
but his attention was very
quickly drawn to the feeling
of bile rising up his throat.

Kuroo quickly rushed to the
bathroom to get rid of the remaining
bits inside his stomach but groaned
when the strong bathroom light feltlike someone had hit his
head with a shovel.

What the hell happened last night?

There wasn't much he remembered
besides meeting up with Bokuto,
he didn't even exactly know
how he got back home.

But he could imagine.

“Fuck. Kenma..”

Kuroo flushed the toilet and
wiped his mouth before he tried
his best to get back to his room as
fast as possible to check his phone.

But before he could even reach
for the device, his gaze stopped at
the small note on his bedside table.

Here's water and some
painkillers, you'll need them.
Call in sick for school, you're 18
and nobody should see you like this.
Don't forget to eat something and
text me when you're up, I won't
answer though because I'm
mad at you.

There was the answer he
had already guessed.

He had completely fucked up
and he couldn't even blame his
boyfriend for being mad.

Not when he didn't even
know what he did last night.

He quickly took a pill with some
water before he grabbed his
phone to text his boyfriend.

Just seeing the call history made
his heart ache, how much stress
had he caused his pregnant
loved one yesterday?

Too much, definitely.

Hey kitten, I'm up and took
some painkillers. I don't
remember much about last
night but I'm so sorry for
pulling you into this.
I'm really sorry you had to
see me like that. I love you <3

But just as expected,
he didn't get an answer.

Even hours later Kuroo continued
to stare at his phone, waiting for
any sign from his boyfriend just in
case Kenma would change his mind.

But he was probably at school
too at the moment, right?

Deciding that maybe getting a
bit of fresh air would help his
head feel less under pressure,
Kuroo grabbed his phone,
jacket and keys before
he went outside.

It was raining as expected for
the middle of November and he
couldn't help but shudder as he
looked up at the window
of Kenma's room.

And while he had just instinctively
done that as he often did, something
made him stop in his tracks.

Mrs Kozume was in his room and
she seemed worried as she leaned
over where Kenma's bed was.
