Elora's POV

Their hands stayed on my lower back as we entered inside the building. I can feel the change of aura here as everyone stopped their pacing and what they were doing. They looked stiff and scared as they greeted us.

They didn't care as usual but I just responded with a polite smile, feeling so out of place because I could never get used to this much attention.

Today, they suddenly told me that I am coming with them to their office. Even though I would rather go somewhere else with them but who am I to order them.

I released my breath only after we entered inside the elevator. Alec's grip tightens on my hip as he looked at me. "What's wrong?"

I inhaled, "Nothing."

"You are stiff."

I shook my head, "Just feeling uncomfortable." My voice was little as I told him hesitantly.

He just looked at me simultaneously the door opened with a ping sound. We stepped out into the hallway and headed forward. I couldn't find anyone on this floor except their bodyguard who is standing outside their office like a statue without any motions.

"Boss. He is in the waiting room."

"Call him in." Asher said as we get inside the office, which looks more like a large study room. I sat down on the couch as they walked around to sit on their chairs. Not even a minute later the door opened and someone walked in.

When I realised this familiar man, my throat was parched as I looked at him eyes widen. I was sitting far from his right side as I looked at him moving forward towards them. They are talking about something and I couldn't get anything inside my ears. All I could do was just sit here trying to breathe. I couldn't believe it and I couldn't fathom if it is a dream or a reality.

But when his eyes are locked with mine I can see them looking at me with so many emotions. "El." That's enough for me. Those two letters were enough to make me lose everything. Everything faded around us as I ran to him and crashed him with a bone crushing hug. My tears flowed down freely as I cried into his chest.

He hugged me tightly just as I am as we stayed like that crying our hearts out. "Ha- Harvey.. I missed you." My voice is barely a whisper. "Me too, El." He kept patting my hair, "I missed you." I could stay like this surrounded by his warmth forever.

"Elora."

A calm and deep voice startled me from my comfort as I broke our hug and turned around to see them standing behind us leaning their back against the table, crossing their arms across their chest. They are being calm but I could tell by their stance that they are beyond angry right now. Their jaws are rugged by clenching them hard and their eyes are slitting me with a glare.

I tried to move away from Harvey but his hand wrapped around my wrist stopping me. "You saw what you needed to. You both gave me a word, now be a man of the word and let us leave from here." I looked at my brother with a frown.

What is he talking about? My eyes then moved to them, "Sure, we will let our wife decide that," Alec said calmly while Asher looked at Harvey with rage. "Elora, do you want to go with him or stay with us?" Alec asked a question very much clearer that made me shocked and stunned at the same time.

If it was an old me I would just curse him with the strength of my brother. But I am not that little naive and pure girl anymore. I was ruined by these two devils in disguise a long time ago. And now I'm mature enough to know their intentions. They are threatening me. They are daring me to leave them. If I dare to take that step they will not hesitate to hurt us, or worse, they will kill him and torture me to death.
