Elora's POV;)
I looked at myself in the mirror with sheer confidence, adjusting my dress before turning around to leave my room. So many thoughts were running inside my head and backing out from this plan is first on that list. Because somehow it feels like a terrible idea.
Yesterday I didn't expect that phone call would turn out this way. I didn't expect that mysterious person to be a lady. Hell, I didn't expect myself to do what I am about to do.
I stood before the door and tried to calm myself before facing the three devils of my life. It's simple Elora. Just make them trust you, believe you, then you are gonna get your freedom back. You will not only get your freedom, you will also help the people and family who got killed by their hands because of you.
I know it's utterly so stupid of me to blindly trust some stranger but when she assured my freedom I am ready to take some risks that I might regret later.
I sighed and walked out of the room heading downstairs to the kitchen. As I walked in my step halted seeing Alec madly pushing Edward into the wall. His hand wrapped around Edward's neck as their face was so close. But Edward had a smug look whereas Alec is clenching his jaw so hard. The tension in the air is so thick and palpable that I forgot my own plan.
"Come in babe. What are you standing there for." I flinched as I snapped my head towards Asher who is leaning on the opposite counter, sipping on his tea calmly.
I slowly moved my eyes back to them only to see Edward plating food and Alec walking towards my direction, handing over my cup of coffee. He pulled out my chair and sat down beside me like he didn't choke his half brother a few seconds ago.
Edward kept four plates of breakfast on the table and we all started to eat in silence. Alec and Asher are dressed up in suits which gives out that it's Edward's turn today. Yes, they would always take turns to spend time with me in a day while the other two would have to leave the house to manage their business schedule.
"You are dressed up today." Alec stated running his lustful gaze all over my body. Suddenly I felt three pairs of eyes drilling into me as I stumbled to focus on my plate. "Just..felt like it." I mumbled in a meek voice suddenly feeling my heart beat increasing in fear.
There are no remarks after and as we finish our breakfast quickly. Alec placed a kiss on my temple before walking out. I stood up grabbing my plate when Asher pulled my body, arm wrapped around my lower back, our front lower parts connected. I held my breath as he lowered his face eyeing my lips. No way he's gonna kiss me. Not after everything. They haven't kissed me, not even touched me inappropriately for almost two and half months after the promise they had made to me.
His eyes roamed all over my face before placing his lips on my cheek, giving a strong kiss. My eyes fluttered on their own.
"Behave." he whispered into my skin before pulling away. I blinked as I watched him walking out. I moved towards the sink with my plate when I felt another presence behind me.
Edward.
He is the only one I'm comfortable with in this house and also to feel extremely nervous when we are alone.
He doesn't lean forward, our body doesn't touch but I can literally feel his body heat from behind. He placed some other vessels in the sink along with mine slowly pressing his chest on my back. I blinked the daze out of my eyes and turned my body around to face him.
He looked amused as he placed his palms on the counter on either side of me. I slightly lifted my head up as he hovered over me. "What?" I squealed as I felt conscious of his eyes roaming over my body.
He leaned down placing his lips on my ear before whispering huskily, "I thought we were just gonna watch a movie sweetheart, then why are you trying to seduce me by wearing this slutty dress hmm?" my breath hitched and an involuntarily shiver ran down my spine as his hot breath on my ear made both my face and body heat up.
I breathed in through my mouth before pushing him off of me softly, gathering my mind and thoughts. "I can change if it's distracting you."
"As much as I want you to change sweetheart, I want to see you like this as long as I can." he said playing with my hair.
"Now go up to your room. I will bring the snacks." I turned around as he patted my ass.
I breathed out as soon as I reached my room and started making the bed before trying to choose what to watch today. I won't say we do this everyday and at the same time it's not a rare occurrence.
Yes they take turns everyday to stay behind with me but even at that time they spend it on their mobile and laptop. But on some days they would inform me beforehand about their specific plans like these. And today I'm gonna use it to my advantage and start my plan from Edward.
"All set?" he walked in carrying a bunch of snacks before setting it all on the bed. "Oh, you even selected the movie, already."
"Yep." I said plopping down on the bed.
He closed the curtains creating a calm atmosphere inside the room and sat beside me playing the movie. I picked up the chocolate and popped it in my mouth, tasting it, when suddenly I felt his hands on my waist. I yelped as he lifted me up and made me sit in between his legs, closing up the distance between our bodies.
"Sit tight, babe." he whispered keeping an arm around my stomach, popping one strawberry into his mouth.
I stayed silent in response, keeping my eyes focused on the screen as the movie started. Halfway through the movie, I finished almost half of the snacks. Now I'm leaning back on his chest completely as his other hand abandoned the snacks to caress my bare thigh, squeezing it softly.
"Today, you look different sweetheart." he muttered nuzzling his face into my neck. My breath hitched both in fear and rush.
"What..how?" it was a mere whisper.
He just gave a small kiss around my ear and neck as his hand around my waist tightened. I was breathless when I tried to stop him, "Edward, I - I want to tell you something." I tried to turn in his hold. He hummed, lifting his head from my neck.
"I- I gave it a thought and- and I want to give us a chance to see where it goes." he face turned serious as he expressed his confusion by frowning. I wet my lips, "I want this, Edward. I want to give you a chance, to four of us.. to this relationship. I thought about it a lot in these two months and I realised that I shouldn't push you all away without giving this relationship a chance. So.." as I finished my little memorized speech, Edward had a smile on his face with his eyes reflecting the bliss and happiness as he looked at me with love and adoration.
He cupped my left cheek, "And trust me sweetheart, you will not regret it." I smiled and pressed my lips into his without thinking. But when he froze, I realised my impulsive action, too little too late.
