Season 6 - Chapter 26: Labyrinth

This is indeed the Kingdom of Fatum, where hybrids live. Yes, half-humans and half animals exist in Beryllus, they are found on Animahomo continent. Their inherent or innate strength is likely greater than that of ordinary people or even remarkable individuals; they are stronger than others, and they have something more in their veins because they are unique. Their features are of humans, but they shift into their own sort.

In some other regions, kailangan pa nilang mag training para lumakas. Ngunit sa Fatum, may sarili nang lakas at kakayahan ang mga hybrids. Magte-training na lang sila para i-enhance ang kanilang abilidad.

The royals are aware that the kingdom of Fatum loves games like Eufrata, ngunit hindi naman nila inaasahang pati sila ay maglalaro sa sikat nilang labyrinth. They heard it's dangerous, but they're not shaken at all. Mahilig din sa laro ang Eufrata at mayroon din silang labyrinth, hindi na ito sa kanila bago.

"Let's do this. Be aware of your surroundings, this is not Eufrata, this is Fatum, so expect the unexpected." Paalala ni Elysian.

Elysian's pulse was racing with anticipation as she cautiously entered the labyrinth. The faint echo of trickling water and the smell of damp dirt filled the air. Despite hearing tales of the labyrinth's betrayal, her curiosity drove her on. She felt Damon's familiar presence behind her, ready to defend her as always, as soon as she stepped through the door.

He whispered, "Stay close," but as soon as they were inside, the walls moved, causing them to abruptly separate. Damon's voice trailed off, leaving Elysian alone as the darkness encircled her. Sama-sama silang pumasok ngunit pagpasok nila ay labyrinth na mismo ang naghiwa-hiwalay sa kanila.

In an attempt to calm herself, Elysian inhaled deeply. The sound of a tiger's low growl reverberated through the hallways as she went forward. She turned to the beast, panic rushing through her. With ravenous eyes, the enormous beast stepped out of the darkness.

"Shit!" With its blade gleaming in the low light, Elysian pulled her dagger out of its sheath. She was just in time to dodge the tiger's lunge, feeling the rush of air as its claws touched her arm. The tiger was swift, swiping back and sending her flying to the ground as she slashed at its side in retaliation.

Gumulong si Elysian sa lupa. Ngunit determinado siya kasabay ng pagkalabog ng kaniyang dibdib. The tiger growled as it circled her, anticipating its opportunity to attack. She took a big breath and regained her composure. She sidestepped and drove her dagger deep into its side as it charged once more.

Elysian stood her ground as the tiger thrashed madly and shouted in pain. She found the vulnerable region beneath its jaw and thrust the blade upward with one more frantic blow. Elysian took a step back, gasping for air, as the beast fell. Although she had lived, her triumph was fleeting; she still had to locate Damon.

In the meantime, Damon shouted for Elysian as he forced his way through the maze. His worried tone reverberated, "Princess?"

Dread weighed down every stride he took. He was aware of the threats that lurked in the shadows. Abruptly, a herd of untamed creatures appeared, a mixture of ferocious boars and snarling wolves. Damon clenched his jaw and retaliated, his blade gleaming in the low light. With a quick slice that drove the wolf reeling back, he dodged beneath its snapping teeth.

"Talagang sinusubok niyo ako ha."

The creatures fell, one by one. A boar lunged for him, its tusks flashing menacingly, but Damon ducked and stabbed it in the side. He stopped, straining to hear Elysian's voice as he killed the last of the pack.

Then he heard her shrill shout, "Damon!" over the commotion. Driven by resolve, he ran toward the sound, his pulse pounding. When Damon turned a corner, he saw Elysian surrounded by a hideous hybrid that had a hawk's wings and a lion's torso. He hurried in without hesitation, attracting the beast's attention.

Damon yelled, "Get away from her!" and confronted the animal.

Damon outpaced the hybrid's lunge. Avoiding it, he rolled under it and cut at its underside. Elysian used the moment to restore her balance as the creature let out a roar of agony.

They battled the beast together, trusting each other and following their instincts. Damon's final blow and Elysian's accurate punch finally brought down the hybrid, defeating it. Breathing deeply, their faces lit up with relief as they turned to face one another.

"I thought I lost you," Damon said, pulling Elysian close.

"I knew you'd come for me," she replied, her voice steady despite the chaos around them.

As Damien continued his journey through the maze, he encountered a number of dreadful hybrids—beings possessing the agility of a cheetah and the savagery of a bear. His muscles tensed in preparation for the battle as he confronted them head-on.

"Exciting." Aniya at tumingin sa langit, animo'y alam niyang may nakakakita sa kaniya roon. "Watch me." Mayabang niyang sabi.

With its claws out, the first hybrid pounced at him. Taking its arm, Damien sidestepped and flipped it to the ground. However, more arrived, and he was encircled.

"Talagang nakinig kayo sa akin ha, dinagdagan niyo pa." Nakangisi niyang sabi. He used all of his training to defeat each one, fighting with an intensity that came from desperation. Dati ay nagrereklamo siya sa tuwing physical fight ang training nila at hindi magic, ngayon ay nagpapasalamat siya dahil gamit na gamit niya ang trainings niyang iyon ngayon. Halos mas nagamit niya ang trainings niya sa physical fight or combats kaysa magic.

As he stood amidst the defeated hybrids, panting and bloodied, he felt a surge of satisfaction. But the labyrinth was still alive with danger, and he pressed on. He continued not minding what's more to come, he wanted to look for her and help her in this labyrinth.

Kailangan niyang mahanap si Celestial Beryl, hindi siya papayag na iba ang makasama nito sa labyrinth. That woman, although already a grown up, is definitely and officially his baby girl.

Chrys, the alpha on the other hand used his keen instincts to guide him through the maze with resolve. Nearby, he could smell the musk of wolves. A group of enormous wolves with ravenous eyes appeared as he rounded a bend. He roared fiercely and charged into combat.

"Using my own kind against me is not a good idea," sabi niya sa paligid, animo'y may ideya ring may nanunuod sa akin. "You know, I'm the best among the leaders of the pack in the South. This won't even make me tired."

Chrys resisted the wolves' growls and lunges. He defeated one wolf after another with skill and strength, his fists flying. As he battled, he experienced an adrenaline rush, driven on by the challenge's excitement.

"More, wala na bang iba? Bigyan niyo 'ko ng mas malakas!" Hamon niya.

Chrys triumphed as the final wolf fell, but he knew that this was just the beginning. There was more for him in the labyrinth. But he focused on finding Celestial Beryl more inside the labyrinth, forcing him to run around.

"Celestial!" He called. He cannot lose her, his queen.
