The stars above Earth flickered brightly in the night sky, a soft breeze dancing through the air as Y/N and the others made their way down to the planet’s surface. The final battle had been fought, and although the war was over, there was still much to do. They all walked in silence, knowing the gravity of what had just transpired.

The Crystal Gems, tired but determined, made their way toward the familiar Rose Quartz Healing Fountain. Y/N paused at the edge, watching as the others gathered around it. The fountain’s soft glow illuminated the weary faces of the corrupted gems, now ready to be healed. Y/N knelt beside the fountain, closing their eyes as they let the healing energy wash over them. The soft hum of the water filled their ears, the pure light slowly restoring the damage caused by eons of torment.

As they watched the gems begin to heal, a lingering question tugged at the back of Y/N's mind. What now? Now that the battle was over, what was left for them to do?

Y/N stared into the gentle ripples of the healing water, lost in thought. Is my life really some sick joke between Pink and Black? Can i ever actual be my own person if it is?They couldn’t help but wonder if their entire existence had been shaped by forces beyond their control, constantly manipulated, constantly changing. Would they ever have a life of their own, or would they remain the result of a twisted game between two opposing powers?

Just as those dark thoughts began to cloud their mind, Y/N felt a soft touch on their shoulder. They turned to find Theia standing there, her eyes barely open, and a faint, confused smile on her face.

"Theia…" Y/N whispered, their heart leaping in their chest. She's awake... she's really awake.

Theia blinked, looking around as though she wasn’t entirely sure where she was. “Y/N?” Her voice was quiet, but the tenderness in it made Y/N's heart ache with relief.

Without a word, Y/N rushed to Theia’s side, their arms trembling as they pulled her into a tight embrace. "I—I'm so glad you're awake," they murmured, voice thick with emotion. "I didn’t know if you'd ever come back. I didn’t know if we could be fuse or laugh together again."

Theia, still disoriented but smiling softly, hugged Y/N back, her arms weak but determined. "I'm here," she whispered. "I'm here now. And we can be whole, together."

Tears welled in Y/N’s eyes, and for the first time in years, they let them fall. The pain of the past three montha—the loneliness, the fear, the uncertainty—began to pour out of them as they held onto Theia. I thought I had lost you, Y/N thought, but now I know... we can have a future together. A real future.

Theia pulled back just enough to look into Y/N’s eyes, her expression soft and gentle. "So, what now?" she asked, her voice filled with the same quiet hope that had always existed between them.

Y/N took a deep breath, the weight of the past few years still heavy in their chest. "We do whatever we want. Together," they said, their voice firm now, full of certainty.

Theia smiled, her eyes lighting up with joy. "I like the sound of that."

*Time Skip – Three Years Later*

Time had passed, and life had continued its course, but for Y/N and Theia, things were finally beginning to feel right. Spinel had settled into running a diner in Little Homeworld, with Andisines and Perry’s old recipes filling the air with the scent of warmth and comfort. The diner became a gathering place for the gems, a reminder of the sacrifices made and the bonds that had been forged.

Lapis and Peridot had grown past the idea of capture and victim, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. They had moved in together, creating a home filled with love and laughter. The quiet of their shared space was the perfect contrast to the chaos of their pasts, and in each other, they found the peace they had longed for.
