Yunho put his mask on in the elevator and offered one to me as well. The lobby felt a little more chaotic and when a guest stepped outside, I could hear shrill cheers followed by disappointment from a crowd that had formed.

As I stepped into the lively chaos, I spotted Hongjoong and Dmitri animatedly engaged with the hotel staff. They waved us over the moment they spotted us, urgency dancing in their expressions.

"Someone must've outed our sleeping arrangements for the evening," Hongjoong sighed, glancing around for the culprit in the crowd.

My gaze drifted to the corner, spotting our favorite asshole guest smirking while nonchalantly eating a waffle. I rolled my eyes, knowing right away he was the responsible party.

"We can set up barricades within the hour," they offered.

"Thanks, but we need to be on the road sooner than that," Hongjoong told her. He then looked to Dmitri with a regretful shrug. "Guess we'll just have to go for it."

"Guess so. I'll bring Charlie first. Maybe if they think..." he began but Yunho interjected firmly.

"Charlie can't go through that. She could get hurt. She just left the hospital," he insisted.

"I can do it," I assured him, but he didn't seem to believe me...maybe he knew how wild the fans could be.

"Dmitri, can you give me the keys to your car? Charlie and I can go out around back and take your car while you and the guys take the bus."

"Are you sure you want to drive that far?" Hongjoong asked in concern. "Toronto is nearly half a day's drive."

"It's fine," Yunho told him. "It makes the most sense."

"I can drive her," Dmitri offered, but Yunho shook his head.

"I want to."

As the plans were being sorted for the guys to leave as safely as possible, my stomach twisted in anxiety, and in a moment of vulnerability, I pulled Yunho aside. He looked down at me with curiosity etched into his expression.

"I don't have a passport," I told him. I'd never traveled outside of the city let alone out of the country. I'd never had a reason for one before.

"Oh!" Yunho remarked. "Well...we'll figure it out. Don't worry."

I nodded...trusting him, as always, to come up with some solution.

He then took the keys and my bag from Dmitri and offered his hand. I couldn't take it...not when I still felt so unsure. He looked a little disappointed by my persistent reluctance, but let his hand fall back into his pocket without a word. I followed him out the back exit, trying to ignore the twisted feeling in my stomach at having let him down again.

Luckily, the crowd was contained to the front so we navigated our way to the car fairly easily. Only one wandering fan did a double-take, but our masks kept our identities hidden.
