"You're shivering Char," Yunho frowned the second we stepped out of the hotel.

It felt like it was about to snow. The air was biting my skin and the wind was blowing too hard. I could barely move. It was as if the blood beneath my skin had turned to ice.

"My...my jacket...it was in the...the suitcase," I stammered while squeezing my arms around myself, trying to retain even an ounce of warmth.

"Here," he offered before stopping in the middle of the road to open his bag and hand me a sweatshirt to throw on.

I didn't hesitate to accept his kindness this time and my body sighed in relief when it wasn't fighting for life anymore. He zipped his bag back up and put his arm around me...an action that made me jump out of instinct.

He went to pull away but I wrapped my arms around him as well. I wanted him... I was done with pushing him away.

"You know..." he muttered before popping open the trunk. "You can always tell me if you need something, Charlie. Whether it's a jacket or food or a new phone or anything else... I can take care of it," he explained as he tossed his bag in.

"I know," I replied with a tight-lipped smile. "I just haven't learned how to ask yet."

He nodded in understanding and opened the passenger side door for me. It made my heart swell that he could offer so much and still chose to hold the door for me.

"Thanks," I mumbled shyly before climbing in.

Yunho closed it and soon we were on our way to the mall. He sang along quietly to the radio while I tried to make a mental list of everything I needed.

Literally every article of clothing he'd just bought me was in there except for the sweatpants and t-shirt I'd worn to bed. I felt sick knowing they'd probably only stolen the items to resell...but there was nothing I could do about it now.

"Love this song!" Yunho exclaimed as he turned up the radio. Here Comes the Sun was playing. It would've been out of place on this frigid winter day anywhere else...except this car with this man who made everything warm.

He sang happily as he drove, and eventually, I couldn't think about my family or the lists of things I needed or anything else except how happy he looked.

When we arrived, Yunho parked and pulled a mask out of his pocket to wear as well as a beanie. "We used to wear fake mustaches," he joked.

I laughed at the idea, and he winked now that he was all hidden.

"Where do you want to start?" he asked once we got inside.

There were so many stores on the map in front of us, but the entryway was filled with a delicious scent that was drawing my attention elsewhere.
