When Yunho and I were finally ready to pull apart, he dressed with a proud smile and we headed to bed. He crawled into the left side, so I settled on the right. He didn't complain when I took more of the comforter and he mumbled an adorable, "Goodnight, Char," before hitting the lights with the conveniently placed button on the nightstand's lamp.

For a while, I stared up at the ceiling and listened to him breathe. It felt a lot nicer to have noise than it did to be alone in a massive empty room...but every time I remembered that noise was Yunho, my heart raced. I tried to remain calm, and even turned to lie on my side, but it was like I could feel him behind me.

Every squirm, every breath, every heartbeat made my skin tingle. I wanted him...I really did...and yet it terrified me to have him here. I was my own

I must've spent hours staring into the dark nothing when I heard his first snores. For some reason, I found them cute...so cute that I turned around just to watch him sleep.

Even in the dark, I could see that his eyes were soft, not pinched like someone weighed down by stress... And his lips parted just slightly to allow for the snore to release. He lay perfectly still on his back, and I suddenly found myself yawning.

Now that I knew I was safe and the only one awake, my body was finally giving up its fight. I passed out while watching him, counting the rise and fall of his chest like sheep.

I was warm when I woke up...and cozy...and something heavy was on my shoulder. I blinked my eyes a bit, and froze when I realized Yunho was cuddling me.

At some point, I must have curled against his chest, and he'd rolled over to hold me. It was intimate and adorable...but I was freaking out.

I could feel my breaths coming faster and faster and I tried to be polite...to remove myself without disturbing him...but his arm was so heavy.

I pulled away and rumbled loudly out of bed, the sound waking him as he must've assumed I'd fallen.

"Charlie!" he sat up anxiously clutching his chest. "Are you okay?"

My eyes were welled with tears at this point...stupid fucking tears that were falling form no reason. Had I ever been held so softly?

Maybe once...maybe last night when Yunho hugged me...and the second time just now when I ruined it.

And I surprised myself because I climbed back into bed and let him hold me again, seeking out the very thing I had run from.

"Hey," he cooed as he opened his arms and wrapped them around me. I envied how easy it was for him. "You're okay, Char. Was it a bad dream?" he asked.

"Yeah, it was a bad dream," I lied. The truth was too pathetic.

Yunho's hands clutched my back firmly, but they didn't wander. It was like he knew I couldn't take it. I burned myself against his chest with my hands under my chin.

"Anything you want to talk about?" he offered.

"No," I sniffed and grasped at his shirt. "Just...Just want you to hold me, please."

"Okay," he answered softly, realizing how much it meant for me to ask that of him. "I've got you. You're okay," he promised. "I've got you."

We laid like that for a while, Yunho protective and comforting, and me small and weak...until we knew the time had come for us to let go.

"You've got to get to Toronto," I reminded him, yet I made no attempts to move.

"Yeah," he hummed and held me a little tighter. "But I can be a little late."

"What if there's an accident?" I asked. There had been a bad one yesterday that would've delayed him for hours.

"Then I'll miss soundcheck," he shrugged as if it didn't matter.

"I think the fans who care a lot about you would be mad..." I sighed. He was so loved by so many people... I wondered if I could share him if he should ever become mine.

"I think if they care about me they'll understand if I skip it just once," he exhaled in contentment.

"Yunho," I pulled back. "You have to go."

He frowned and searched my face for any hesitation. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," I gave him a fake smile. I felt better...But I was far from okay if waking up next to the sweetest man in the world holding me made me break down.

"And you'll be alright here until I can get back?" he asked. "We'll figure out how to get you a passport soon."

"I'll be okay," I promised.

Yunho seemed to believe me that time and peeled himself out of bed to collect his necessities. "I'll try to make it back after the show tonight, but I'll come by mid-tomorrow at the latest."

"Okay," I answered as I watched him from the bed. He was running later than I thought and whipped and zipped across the room to collect pajamas for the night in case he got stuck there and his toiletry items. He didn't even order breakfast.

"Order whatever you want for room service...and I mean that. Order movies too. Don't just sit here being bored, okay?"

I nodded with a tight smile, one that made Yunho step towards me. "Okay?" he repeated in amusement.

"Fine," I conceded. "I'll order a stupid movie and have a stupid burger. Okay?"

"Perfect," he smiled and kissed the top of my head.

We both froze...

His lips lingered briefly on my forehead while it settled between us what had just happened. He'd kissed me... He'd kissed me and he hadn't even meant to.

"I...umm..." he started, looking as flustered as I felt.

"H-have fun at the show," I told him shyly with rosy flushed cheeks. Inside I was jumping for joy, but I didn't know how he felt about it yet.

"Thanks," he pulled away awkwardly. "Enjoy your...umm...your movie day."

"Thanks," I laughed breathlessly and watched as he tripped over the carpet on the way out the door. He turned with a boyish smile and waved before leaving for good to head to Toronto.

I waited a respectable amount of time...enough to be sure he was out of earshot, and fell back to the bed squealing excitedly.

Yunho had kissed me.
