The soft, warm glow of the bonfire wrapped the pogues up like a warm blanket, in an attempt to fight off the crisp air of the Outer Banks. As the group sat, bundled up in jackets, hats, and blankets, they found solace in retelling stories of the past, and their shared hopes for the future.

They had been back from Morocco for nearly six months, and Sarah was going on eight months pregnant. Sarah was nestled up in John B's lap attempting to gain as much warmth as she could from the blanket they shared, and the radiating heat from his chest. Her hands were cradling her belly as they often did, in her way of keeping her baby safe from the terrors they had faced early on. She was falling in and out of sleep, and John B's small movements pulled her closer and closer to rest.

Running his hand up and down her back, he smiled down at her as she dozed on and off. The faint smile on her lips assured him that she was okay and had finally caught a break from the constant pain she had been enduring the past few months.

Sarah's most recent last few months of pregnancy had been torturous for the pair. She could barely sleep through the night without screaming in pain, as her gunshot wound had led to some complications throughout each stage of her pregnancy. John B had been there with her every step of the way, but seeing her writhe in pain in the way she had been, broke him in the same way it did when he saw her flatline on that medical table in the Bahamas.

The group had all seemed to doze off, but John B's mind was not going to let him sleep for at least another hour. His thoughts were flying through his mind at a million miles a second, worrying about all things Sarah. After everything they had been through, can you blame him for worrying about keeping his wife and unborn child safe?

They were at Poguelandia 2.0, a place they had all used as a group hangout spot. John B and Sarah had rebuild on the Chateau's property, Pope and Cleo had build a house on a vacant lot kiddie corner to John B and Sarah, and Kie rotated as she lived with her parents half the time, and spent a lot of time with the group in their respective houses. Coming back to Poguelandia 2.0 without JJ had been hard, but it always brought them back to their roots, and they could feel JJ's presence when they were all there together.

John B figured he should take Sarah home, knowing that she would want to wake up in their king sized bed, instead of in a lawn chair outside in the cold. Looking down at her, he contemplated what the best way to transport her would be. Since his hands were already wrapped around her frame, he tightened his grip as he stood up to carry her over to the Twinkie. Feeling her slow movements in her sleep, he shushed her in hopes to keep her asleep, at least until they arrived at home. As he opened the door with his left hand, his right held tightly onto Sarah as he maneuvered her into the passenger's seat.

"John B?" Sarah whispered as her eyes began to flutter open at the sudden movements and change in position from laying down, to now sitting upright in the Twinkie. "Hey, hey, shhhh." He whispered as his thumb rubbed her cheek gently. Figuring he would just text the group once he got home so they would know where they had went, he hopped into the driver's seat as he started the engine.

Glancing over at Sarah, he smiled at her sleeping face as she had fallen back into her slumber. Hoping to drive slow enough to keep her asleep, he prayed she would not stir. Arriving nearly five minutes later, John B pulled up to their home, a small two story house they had build a few months prior and had grown to love, as it sat on his childhood home's land. There was something about creating a home with the love of his life, on the same property he had grown up on that made his heart swell. He could not wait to raise his children here, with his most perfect wife sleeping soundly next to him in the passenger's seat as his mind wandered.
