GOD DAMN THE SUN

It was almost the end of spring and a massive heat wave had hit Helios Island. No one knew exactly why, but most people assumed that it was because of the Sun, including Gojo and Snake.
-”Gosh... I’m so damn hot...” said Gojo, waving a piece of paper in his face at high speed while the three fans were blowing air towards him.
-”Yesterday was completely fine... And now it’s like a hydrogen bomb blew up outside our house...” said Snake with his face straight in a fan.
-”You still have your stinky sneaking suit on, I have a t-shirt and shorts!” noticed Gojo, as he went to get himself a popsicle from the freezer, only for it to instantly melt. “Aw, dang it.” Snake noticed and grinned.
-”Not even the popsicle wants your annoying ass.” said Snake, Gojo looked at him annoyed.
-”You aren’t making this any better.” replied Gojo.
-”Nor is your non-stop yapping.” said Snake.
Gojo rolled his eyes and returned to Snake, he laid down on the sofa and looked up, bored. He sniffed a bit and grunted.
-”Don’t you think you should take off your suit? Yo [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] stick!” said Gojo, Snake rolled his eyes.
-”Will you shut up if I do that?” replied Snake.
-”Yes!” replied Gojo, Snake sighed and got up, walking to his room. As he was changing, he got a call via his codec. He answered it.
-”Snake. I got news.” said none other than Midas.
-”What?” asked Snake.
-”The heat isn’t due to the Sun. The battle royale servers blew up, causing unusual heat waves. The reason is unknown, I will try to look into it.” explained Midas.
-”I see, I’m guessing nobody can play anymore then..” said Snake.
-”Yes. That’s right. Well, I better get back to work to figure out what caused this. Until then, you are free. Enjoy your freedom while you still have it.” replied Midas before closing the call. Snake thought for a bit, before finally changing into something more comfortable and returning to Gojo. He sat down as close to the fan as he could. 
As Snake and Gojo were trying their best to cool off, the doorbell rang. Gojo wasn’t moving an inch. Snake groaned, and answered the door. Outside were none other than Hope and Mizuki, both wearing extremely revealing and short clothing.
-”Hey Snake! What are you up to?” asked Mizuki with a very excited, yet sweaty look on her face. “Where’s Gojo?” asked once again, as she looked around.
-”I’m trying to cool off. It’s so hot, it would’ve been better if I had killed myself. Same goes with the [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] that refuses to move a inch from where he sits.” replied Snake, moving aside. Gojo was laying on the sofa, refusing to even look their way, which wasn’t something Gojo would do but who were they to judge him. Both Mizuki and Hope walked up to him, Mizuki poked Gojo’s face.
-”Yo, [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] stop acting all nonchalant. You got guests over.” said Mizuki, Gojo looked at her grumpy.
-”Yeah yeah. What did you come here for?” asked Gojo to which both Mizuki and Hope smiled proudly.
-”We decided to come up with this great, brilliant and innovative idea of going to a water park!” said Mizuki.
-”Yeah! I know a great one and I’m sure you two would absolutely love it!” said Hope excitedly, both Snake and Gojo looked too drained to properly respond, but Snake eventually answered.
-”No.” said Snake before he fell on the sofa, pointing the fan in his direction. Mizuki rolled her eyes annoyed.
-”Come on, you lazy bones! Stop marinating in this [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] hole.” said Mizuki, trying to pull Snake off the sofa, but he only grunted and barely moved, Gojo looked at her.
-”First of all, don’t touch him, he will beat you up if you keep annoying him. Second of all, if we go now to the water park I bet you there will be a huge waiting line.” said Gojo, Mizuki didn’t let go of Snake but he quickly flinched and pulled his hand back, turning his back on her. Mizuki looked at them annoyed.
-”Ugh, you guys are so boring! And honestly if I wouldn’t have known any better I would’ve said he is acting like the most anti-social grumpy cat.” said Mizuki, Hope pulled out her phone and started looking on it.
-”I don't blame him, this heat is exasperating.” replied Gojo.
-”Yeah.. Gojo is right, I just checked and all the water parks are full..” said Hope, Gojo grinned.
-”I hate to say it, but I told you so.” said Gojo, Mizuki rolled her eyes annoyed.
-”Yeah yeah, but this doesn’t mean we can’t do something about it!” said Mizuki.
-”We could make a water park... if you all really wanted..” suggested Gojo.
-”YES!” exclaimed both Mizuki and Hope.
-”With this [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] heat outside!? No way in a thousand years.” replied Snake, annoyed.
-”Hush Snaky-kun. I will handle it! Don’t you worry my sweet baby girl!” said Gojo with a mocking tone, looking at him with a huge grin, Snake looked back at him and kicked him off the sofa.
-”Go hang yourself alone in the Sun, I’m sure the crows are looking for something to eat too.” replied Snake to which Gojo laughed.
-”Wouldn’t you like to have a taste too?” said Gojo with a grin, Snake looked at him surprised and threw a pillow against his head, causing Gojo to laugh harder. Both Mizuki and Hope looked at them disappointed.
-”Ok, stop gaying around already. Let’s go make that water park already!” said Mizuki, as she pulled Gojo outside by his shirt’s collar, Snake being forced to follow them too. Gojo selected an empty spot in his world for her and Hope to edit. He floated above and the girls followed him, Snake looked up at them, covering his eyes enough to see them.
-”Would you like to join?” asked Gojo looking down at him.
-”No!” replied Snake, before going under a tree next to Gojo’s house, looking at them.
-”I’ll go get some supplies and stuff to cool us down, you guys try to make a proper outline of the place.” said Gojo as he teleported away.
-”Ok!” said Mizuki as her and Hope started making outlines on the map, making them show up as holograms from where Snake was sitting.
After a while, Gojo returned and placed a portable refrigerator next to Snake.
-”Are there any beers?” asked Snake.
-”No, we ran out, and even if there were I wouldn’t bring any.” replied Gojo, Snake looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
-”I know we definitely didn’t run out, but fine, I guess.” said Snake, picking up a cold drink.
-”Yeah, you are right, but I just don’t think that’s the greatest idea.” replied Gojo.
-”Loser.” murmured Snake as he kept drinking his drink, Gojo looked at him annoyed.
-”Geez, you are so annoying!” said Gojo, before teleporting back to Mizuki and Hope. He looked over their plans and began adding some of his ideas as well.
Once they were done with the plans, they began working on the water park itself, each of them participating. Snake was on the ground, digging holes for where the pools were going to be and making sure the base of the structure was solid. Hope was building towers from where the slides will come from, Mizuki was the one designing the slides, and Gojo brought materials. As Mizuki and Hope were connecting the slides, Gojo seemed to get more and more clumsy, Mizuki noticed and stopped. She looked at him, noticing how bad the Sun had been affecting him.
-”Hey.. Gojo.. are you alright?” asked Mizuki, looking down at him, Gojo looked up at her.
-”Yeah..” but before he could continue he passed out, Mizuki tried to catch him but failed.
-”[[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]]! Snake! Gojo is falling! Can you catch him” screamed Mizuki. Snake immediately looked up and ran towards where Gojo was falling, easily catching him. He looked down at Gojo, noticing how much the heat had affected him and immediately rushed inside. Mizuki and Hope noticed and decided to stop and teleport where Snake was. Once they were there they noticed Snake laying Gojo down on the sofa and turning on all the fans for him.
-”Is he going to be ok?” asked Hope, worried. Snake looked at them then back at him.
-”Yeah, it’s just that he doesn't have a lot of resistance in hot temperatures.. I don’t blame him though, he is like a snowflake in the desert...“ explained Snake, making sure Gojo was comfortable before going into the bathroom to pick up some SPF 50.
-”Yeah... he probably should’ve worn a hat.” said Mizuki.
-”That probably wouldn’t have done much..” replied Snake as he began putting the cream over Gojo’s body, so the Sun won't affect him that much. Once he was done, he sat down next to him.
-”Well, aren’t you going to join us again?” asked Hope.
-”And leave this [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] alone? What if he falls down in his sleep?” said Snake, both Mizuki and Hope raised their eyebrows.
-”I don’t know if you are trying to find excuses to stay inside or if your [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] is so gay and still in denial.” replied Mizuki, Snake looked at her then away.
-”I won’t comment on anything.” murmured Snake.
-”[[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]]” said Mizuki and Hope together.
-”HEY! Only I get to say that!” said Snake, looking at them annoyed.
-”Why? You aren’t one, so if anything YOU are the one that shouldn’t say that!” said Hope, Snake grinned. Mizuki and Hope looked at him shocked.
-”I KNEW IT! YOU ARE GAY!” said Mizuki. Snake looked at her annoyed.
-”First of all, stop screaming, you are going to wake up the white chocolate. Second of all, I’m not gay, I just go both ways for men and women. But Gojo isn’t one of them. AND THIRD OF ALL! This is something I figured out a few days ago! Gojo doesn’t love me, he loves everyone, because he loves it when he gets to hang out with anyone except DOOM!” explained Snake, proudly. Both Mizuki and Hope were surprised by the second statement but immediately disappointed by the third. Mizuki pulled Hope back for a bit.
-”He is delusional and in so much denial, it’s not even funny anymore.” whispered Mizuki.
-”I know, but they need to figure it out for themselves. Who knows, maybe they will get along one day..” whispered Hope back, Mizuki nodded.
-”Yeah, we should probably let them figure it out on their own.” whispered Mizuki back. Hope nodded then returned to Snake who was on his phone.
-”Yeah, we’ve come to the common agreement that whatever you say is true and we will not interfere with your future activities.” said Mizuki with a serious tone, Snake looked at her then back to his phone.
-”Ok, thanks.” replied Snake.
-”Well, I suppose me and Hope will go back to making the water park!” said Mizuki before leaving with Hope.
-”Alright, just pass out like Gojo did. I won’t be there for you..” said Snake.
Mizuki and Hope resumed building the water park. As they were building, Hope looked at Mizuki.
-”How long do you think it will take for them to actually realise they are into each other?” asked Hope.
-”Honestly? 2 days at best. Snake is in denial but Gojo is already down for him.” replied Mizuki.
-”Oh wait, so Gojo is actually in love?” said Hope.
-”GIRL. Have you NOT seen the way he immediately told me to let go of Snake? I’m telling you there’s DEFINITELY something there and it’s coming from Gojo.” said Mizuki.
-”Yeah but you know, Snake kinda had a point about Gojo just generally being happy about being with anyone except DOOM.” said Hope.
-”Yeah, but look at the way Gojo looks at you or me and then at Snake.” said Mizuki, Hope thought for a moment.
-”Okay yeah you got a point. But what if Snake rejects him” asked Hope, Mizuki stopped building for a moment, thinking.
-”Oh my [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] God, that’d mean the end of the world. Because then Gojo will be all heartbroken and just start following DOOM around, and DOOM will probably put an end to everything... But I’m sure Snake has something for Gojo.” replied Mizuki.
-”It’ll be the absolute DOOM for all of us, pun intended.” said Hope, as she kept on building.
-”Yeah, I sure hope that won’t be the case.” said Mizuki with a grin and continued helping her. Both of them laughed.
-”Oh, you sure love making these jokes, don’t you?” asked Hope.
-”Yeah, but that’s only because I love you more.” replied Mizuki softly, Hope chuckled and blushed.
-”Awh..” said Hope as she kept building.
Soon enough, they were done and began filling the place with water. Once the place was full of it, they went inside to find Snake peeling oranges and cleaning them then placing them on a plate.
-”We are done with the water park, if you want to switch with one of us to enjoy it.” said Mizuki.
-”No.” responded Snake dryly. Both Mizuki and Hope looked slightly surprised.
-”Alright.. Also what are you doing?” asked Hope.
-”Preparing a fruit salad for when Gojo wakes up, I know he will need to hydrate and I think fruits might help” replied Snake. Mizuki and Hope looked at each other then back at Snake.
-”Ok, we will go out now.” said Mizuki and Hope, going back out and immediately jumping in the cold water.
-”Ah! This feels so nice!” said Mizuki.
-”Totally agree!” said Hope as she began floating around the pool. Mizuki grinned and pulled her by the leg under water to scare her. Hope screamed and immediately swimmed back up.
-”HEY!” said Hope to which Mizuki chuckled.
-”What? Scared of a little fun?” asked Mizuki teasingly.
-”No!” replied Hope before splashing Mizuki who chuckled.
-”Yeah yeah, alright, I won’t mess around anymore, I really need to cool off..” said Mizuki, leaning against one of the walls, Hope immediately swimmed next and leaned next to her.
-”I have to say, it’s pretty nice.” said Hope as she put her head on Mizuki’s shoulder.
-”Yeah, especially when it’s with someone special..” said Mizuki, pulling Hope closer to her.
-”Yeah..” whispered Hope.
They stood quietly in the water, enjoying each other’s presence. Despite the heartful moment, Hope couldn’t help but have her eyes linger over Mizuki’s tattoos. She had a pink lotus flower on the left side of her chest, close to the neck, a moon that was made out of water on her left arm, matching the sun she had on her right arm. On her back she had two koi fish, swimming in a sink motion. Hope looked over them and gently traced the moon tattoo.
-”It’s pretty..” whispered Hope, Mizuki looked at her and smiled softly.
-”Just like you... baby girl.“ whispered Mizuki back before bringing her hand to her mouth and kissing it. Hope blushes and looks down flustered.
-”Thank you, does it have a meaning behind it?” asked Hope, Mizuki looked away and sighed.
-”Yeah.. It represents what I was for my brother.. How he saw me.. He always said I remind him of the moon due to my quiet personality..” explained Mizuki.
-”I see, and I suppose he is the sun, since he's always open minded and extroverted?” asked Hope, slowly tracing her tattoo.
-”Yes! He also had a powerful personality, he wasn’t afraid of fights.. But that caused him a lot of trouble..” explained Mizuki, slowly lowering herself in the water. Hope looked at her.
-”Could you.. Tell me more about your past..? I’ll tell you about mine too!” asked Hope, Mizuki looked at her and got out of the water a bit.
-”Sure. I suppose I will start from when I was young... I was always a shy girl.. I never really liked talking to people because I didn’t like how they reacted to me being the way I was... I was kinda like Gojo.. in a way.. Having white hair and blue eyes definitely sparked curiosity in the kids. But not all of them had good intentions... Thankfully, my brother was always there for me. We grew up close to each other, he taught me so many things... Later on, when we were both teens, I noticed he started distancing himself more and more from my clan and our family... even from me at some point. It was later on that I found out he joined the rival’s clan... telling them all our clan’s secrets and techniques.. The emperor died during the war between clans.. leaving me to become the empress of the River Guard.” explained Mizuki, she stopped talking, looking somewhat scared and sorrowful. Hope held her hand and Mizuki looked at her, she took a deep breath and sighed.
-”Well.. After the war my brother ran away.. I searched all over the place for him.. But.. he was far gone.. As the empress of the clan, I learnt every technique there was to learn. I’ve mastered my water bending abilities and swordsman techniques.. But before I knew, our place collapsed, the island had a melt down and glitched. That’s when Gojo along with his students showed up. I hated him so much when I first saw him. He acted like he was the center of attention.. Then DOOM found him and.. Well... You know the rest..” said Mizuki with a sigh. Hope held her hand tight before pulling her close and hugging her tight.
-”You are really strong.. And I’m proud of you!” said Hope, Mizuki let out a quiet sob before hugging her tight.
-”I never liked talking about my past.. with anyone.. But I trust you more than everyone all together..” said Mizuki, Hope smiled softly and pulled back, wiping Mizuki’s tears before kissing her forehead.
-”I’m glad you do, because I promise you I will never let go of you, I love you and you mean the world to me!” said Hope with a soft smile, Mizuki smiled back.
-”I love you too.” whispered Mizuki before gently kissing her tender lips. Hope smiled and gently pulled back.
-”Feeling better now?” asked Hope to which Mizuki nodded.
-”Yes, thank you!” replied Mizuki.
-”Also one more thing.. My lotus tattoo represents my clan and the koi fish represents the fact that I’m the empress of the River Guard.” explained Mizuki.
-”Ooooh, that’s nice.. They suit you really well!” replied Hope.
-”Thank you!” said Mizuki, smiling softly.
-”Of course, Now why don’t I tell you about my story, to take your mind off of yours...“ said Hope.
-”Sure, that’d be nice!” said Mizuki with a warm smile.
-”Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to be a soldier and shoot people, like in action movies. My parents were the founders of the team now known as The Society.. I didn’t really have a lot of freedom because of that.. They wanted me to be perfect, it was annoying, I always sneaked around places to find new things. I was always rebellious and never interested in becoming someone important but apparently I was supposed to be the next ruler of The Society. Unfortunately my sister, Valeria took over and with that hell unleashed.. She seeks power and because of that things started changing around the map.. She was the one that brought Pandora's box out and unfortunately your two [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] friends broke all the Gods free.. And well you know the rest.. I really don’t have a lot of backstory.. I was always that simple boring child with a basic childhood..” explained Hope, looking away ashamed.
-”Hey, it’s fine, don’t worry too much about it. I’m sure now that you are part of the team you will definitely have more fun and a much more interesting backstory!” said Mizuki.
-”Yeah, I hope so..” replied Hope.
-”Haha, hope.” said Mizuki, Hope chuckled.
-”Oh shush... anyways, I’m getting pretty bored. Let’s check on the totally not gay friends.” said Hope but before she could get out she got shot with cold water.
-”Oh I’m sorry, were you two talking about us?” asked Gojo with a teasing grin, Mizuki and Hope turned to look at them.
-”Well well well, speak of the devil and he will appear.” said Mizuki with a grin, Snake realised it.
-”We are not like that!” said Snake to which Mizuki and Hope bursted out laughing, Gojo looked at them confused and then at Snake.
-”Snaky-kun what do you mean?” asked Gojo, Snake sighed.
-”Seems like you haven’t been psychologically tortured by them the way I’ve been..” explained Snake.
-”What? With what?” asked Gojo. Snake looked at him traumatised.
-”They kept calling me gay and saying we are together and you are in love with me.” replied Snake, Gojo looked shocked and blushed, looking away embarrassed. Snake noticed and Gojo looked back at him with a dumbfounded expression.
-”What an odd thing to say...“ replied Gojo.
-”I know right.. And they keep insisting on it too!” said Snake, annoyed, Gojo looked at Mizuki and Hope miserable, blushing harder.
-”Like, I get it, it’s probably because I’m bisexual but it’s irritating.” continued Snake, Gojo looked a bit shocked and hopeful at the girls and they just laughed harder.
-”Yeah.. How awful.. And rude of them...“ said Gojo, turning around to look at Snake, trying to look mad but was still flustered.
-”I know! ... Also why are you pink?” asked Snake.
-”Must be the sun.” responded Gojo immediately.
-”Oh yeah, makes sense.” said Snake and the girls just screamed, laughing their souls out at Snake’s naivety. Gojo was screaming internally and Snake looked at them more annoyed.
-”Well, less talking, more fighting, I can’t have you passing out during our fight!” said Snake before handing Hope and Mizuki their water guns and taking cover.
They began shooting the girls, distracting them from their laughter, Hope and Mizuki each picked a gun and began shooting back at them. As they were shooting Mizuki decided to use her water bending powers, making sure to land every one of her shots. Snake noticed and stopped shooting.
-”We have a problem. One of them is using some sort of magic, making their hits 100% accurate.. What should we do?” asked Snake, Gojo stopped and hid with him.
-”I could use my infinity to protect us..” replied Gojo.
-”What’s that?” asked Snake.
-”Oh, that’s my power, it creates an invisible field around me. I can make it as thick or as thin as I want.” explained Gojo, Snake thought for a moment.
-”That doesn’t give us a lot of advantage..” said Snake.
-”Yes but we don’t have another choice..” replied Gojo.
-”Fair, use it and start shooting again.” said Snake as he began shooting, Gojo nodded and held Snake’s arm before he began shooting again as well.
-”Why are you holding me!?” asked Snake, annoyed.
-”I need to touch you in order to spread my infinity!” explained Gojo as he expanded his infinity over the two of them, causing Mizuki and Hope to not hit them anymore. Mizuki noticed and grinned.
-”Oh yeah? You want to play dirty? Fine by me!” said Mizuki, throwing her gun aside. She closed her eyes and began focusing on the water in the whole water park they’ve made and controlling it. Snake and Gojo noticed and looked at her, turning all the water into a big hand then back at one another.
-”We are done for.” said Gojo.
-”So done for.” replied Snake.
Before they knew it, Mizuki picked them both up and put them up on the water park slide, she dropped them along with the water and they both slided down rapidly, screaming in fear as they were both flying before falling in the pool. Gojo fell first then Snake immediately after.
-”We win!” said Mizuki, both Snake and Gojo swimmed to the surface. Snake was gasping for air, panicked, while Gojo was laughing really hard.
-”THAT WAS SO [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] AWESOME!” said Gojo, excitedly.
-”That was terrible.” murmured Snake, getting out of the water and laying down, looking up at the stars as he tried to calm down. Gojo noticed and went to him.
-”Yo, you good?” asked Gojo, looking at Snake.
-”Yeah.. Yeah.. I’m fine, I just need to calm down. Why do you worry so much anyway?” asked Snake, looking at Gojo skeptical.
-”No reason. You worry about me, I worry about you!” replied Gojo.
-”Uh huh... Well I assure you I’m alright now.” said Snake before splashing Gojo with the little water he had on his hands.
-”Go pull the girls down with you or something.. I need to dry off..” said Snake before standing up and walking towards the house, Gojo watched him walk away.
-”Okay!” said Gojo with his annoying tone, before turning around with an evil grin at the girls. He quickly swimmed to them and grabbed them both by their legs, he then immediately floated up really high then dropped them off in the pool.
-”How did you like that, ladies?” said Gojo with a mocking tone. Mizuki got mad and grabbed Gojo with her water hand again, pulling him down with them.
-”Not all that much.” replied Mizuki, Gojo grinned.
-”Womp [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] womp, [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]].” said Gojo, Mizuki grunted.
-”You are a pain in the [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] sometimes, you know that?” said Mizuki, annoyed.
-”I know..” replied Gojo before he began floating on the water.
-”Gojo.. Do you have someone special in your life?” asked Hope, Gojo stopped and looked at her.
-”Even if I had, I can't answer with anything else except DOOM. I don’t need anyone special.. Anyone to care for me.. No.. I got DOOM.. that’s enough for me..” said Gojo before looking towards the house, sighing. Mizuki looked at Gojo and gestured to him to write in the water and she would make a trace of what he wrote. Gojo nodded and began writing. He wrote “I can’t talk about it. DOOM is listening.” Mizuki and Hope looked at him surprised before looking at Gojo. He erased what he wrote then rewrote something that got both Mizuki and Hope excited, Gojo looked away flustered before quickly erasing what he wrote.
-”Well.. I better get going.. Seems like the weather has finally regulated and it doesn’t seem like it will be a warm night...“ said Gojo before getting out of the pool. He picked up everyone’s water guns and placed them inside a chest nearby the pool. Both Mizuki and Hope got out as well, they then followed Gojo inside. Once there, Gojo gave both of them a towel and they began drying themselves. Soon enough they were all dried and walked in the living room, on the balcony was Snake, smoking and drinking his beer.
-”Huh, he is probably preparing to go to sleep.” said Gojo, looking at Snake.
-”That’s how he prepares!?” asked Hope, shocked.
-”Yeah! We usually drink together and talk about our day but I guess not anymore.” replied Gojo.
-”Well it is what it is! Why don’t we play a board game?” asked Mizuki, happily.
-”Yeah I could go for a board game.” replied Hope.
-”Me too.. How does rummy sound?” asked Gojo.
-”Perfect!” replied Mizuki.
-”Alright, let me ask Snake if he wants to join as well.” said Gojo before leaving the living room and going on the balcony.
-”Snaky-kuuuuuuuun~” said Gojo in his annoying voice, Snake sighed annoyed.
-”What do you want?” asked Snake.
-”Do you want to play Rummy with us?” asked Gojo, walking up to Snake and looking at him excited. Snake looked at him a bit surprised.
-”Rummy? I haven’t played that game in a while..” said Snake.
-”So would you like to play it now again with me and the girls?” asked Gojo, excitedly.
-”Sure!” replied Snake as he quickly finished his cigarette and threw it in the ashtray then his beer, throwing it in the trash bin. He walked inside, Gojo following behind him.
-”He said he will join.” said Gojo before looking through his world’s inventory, eventually finding the Rummy box.
He took it out and began setting it for everyone. Once everything was set everyone took a seat at one of the sides of the table. They all set their cards and began playing.
Throughout the game, Snake noticed that both Mizuki and Hope were helping each other so he nudged Gojo under the table. Gojo looked at him confused and Snake pointed at the way Hope looked in Mizuki’s board for a way to help her.
-”Hey, that’s cheating!” said Gojo, pointing at Hope.
-”Pfffft, whaaaat? Noooooooo!” replied Hope with a nervous smile.
-”Do you think we are dumb and can’t take a hint?” asked Snake, Gojo looked away, but both Mizuki and Hope bursted out laughing.
-”Uh, maybe?” replied Mizuki, Snake grunted annoyed.
-”Whatever. I say Hope and I switch spots. So you two can be face to face.” said Snake.
-”I agree.” replied Gojo, Mizuki sighed and rolled her eyes.
-”Fine, have it your way!” said Mizuki, Hope sighed defeated and picked up her board with all her pieces, switching spots with Snake.
-”Much better!” said Snake as he continued playing.
As they kept playing, Gojo decided to break the silence.
-”So, you guys have any plans for tomorrow?” asked Gojo.
-”Hmmm not really, maybe rest..” replied Mizuki.
-”I will have to go with Jonesy and check on the Gods. I think I found a way to put them back in the box using the power of the medallions.” replied Hope.
-”Ah damn, if you need help, please do tell us!” said Gojo.
-”I will, don’t worry, but I hope that won’t be the case. I really don't hope that’s not the case. I don’t want to cause you guys any trouble, especially to you, Gojo. You seem like you could use some free time.” said Hope.
-”Eh, don’t worry about it. We will be glad to help you if it’s the case, right, Snaky?” asked Gojo as he looked at Snake. Snake looked at him back.
-”Uh huh, yeah, anyway, I got 3 cards left on my board.” replied Snake.
-”WHAT!? HOW!?” asked Gojo, annoyed.
-”I’m just that much better.” replied Snake with a teasing grin.
-”Is that so?” asked Gojo.
-”Yes, Now focus on the game, [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]].” replied Snake.
-”Focus on the game, focus on the game!” whispered Gojo, mockingly, under his breath, Snake looked at him with a raised eyebrow but didn’t say anything. Mizuki and Hope looked at each other with a grin on their faces, almost as if knowing what they wanted to tell each other.
Soon enough, Snake finished first. He was in first place score wise, with Gojo immediately following behind him, leaving Mizuki in third and Hope in fourth. Snake noticed and grinned.
-”Awh, is someone mad?” asked Snake teasingly.
-”I’m not mad, I just want to prove to you how much you underestimate me!” replied Gojo to which Snake grinned.
-”Good luck with that.” said Snake.
They entered the second round, Gojo was now more focused on the game, Snake noticed and grinned, making sure he won’t let Gojo win. Half way through the round, Gojo got a message.
It was from none other than DOOM. Once he saw it was from DOOM, he sighed. He set his phone aside and placed his head on the table and let out a huge loud and frustrated grunt. Everyone looked at him confused.
-”Gojo? Is there something wrong?” asked Hope, worried. Snake picked up his phone and checked the notification, noticing it was DOOM. He read the message then threw the phone aside in the hallway. Everyone looked at Snake shocked.
-”[[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]] this guy for once, all he cares about is himself. Have some freedom and control over yourself for once...“ murmured Snake, annoyed.
-”But Snake-” before Gojo could continue, Snake hushed him.
-”No. I don’t want to hear it. If he complains about something, tell him I asked you a year ahead to hang out exactly tomorrow with you! We are going shopping... with your students.. Or we do whatever you four want!” said Snake, Gojo chuckled.
-”It’s barely been a few months since you came.. But alright, I’ll tell him we will go out tomorrow..” said Gojo.
-”Good. And if he starts looking around for us I will personally go look for him and have a face to face conversation..“ said Snake.
-”Oh.. So we won’t actually go out tomorrow?” asked Gojo.
-”It’s up to you really. But you still need rest after today.” replied Snake, Gojo rolled his eyes annoyed.
-”Ok, mom!” said Gojo, Snake looked at him and raised his eyebrow but didn’t say anything.
-”Ok I’m sorry.” murmured Gojo but Snake went back to focusing on his game. Gojo noticed and sighed, focusing on the game as well. As the game kept going they eventually reached the end, this time with Gojo winning the round, making him take the first place, in second being Snake and the third and fourth places remaining unchanged.
-”YES! I TOLD YOU I CAN WIN!” said Gojo proudly.
-”Good job!” replied Snake to which Gojo chuckled.
-”Thank you!” responded Gojo.
-”Well, this was fun, but I think me and Hope will go home now. We should do this again sometime!” said Mizuki as she got up, she walked up to Hope and helped her get up before picking her up in her arms. Hope looked away embarrassed but tired as well.
-”Yeah, we should.” replied Gojo.
-”Yeah.. Well, goodbye you two!” said Mizuki before teleporting away.
-”Bye!” said Gojo, he looked back at Snake who was putting the Rummy game back in the box then handing it to Gojo. He picked it up and set it aside on a shelf.
-”Snake... I never got to know.. What’s your real name?” asked Gojo, looking at him.
-”I don’t have a name, and even if I did, it doesn’t matter. We won’t live together long enough to get that close. I still want to leave, you know..” replied Snake looking at Gojo with a cold expression, Gojo looked at him a little hurt but then looked down.
-”I know... I’m sorry.. I.. I thought after all this time, that maybe we got close enough to respect each other as friends.. But I guess you don’t see it that way...“ murmured Gojo, Snake looked at him for a while before standing up and walking away. He picked up Gojo’s phone and gave it to him.
-”..It’s not broken yet, you better use it to make a plan for your students tomorrow. I don’t want to go around and waste my time without making at least them happy.” said Snake, Gojo looked up at him surprised and took his phone. Snake then walked away towards his room but stopped at the front door. He looked at Gojo one last time.
-”...My name starts with the letter D.. You are right, we should have enough respect for each other. But for now respect the fact that I don’t like sharing my name. So this is a pretty big sacrifice coming from me. Do what you want with this information. Good night, Satoru.” said Snake before walking into his room, he quickly changed his clothes then laid down flat on the bed, looking up at the ceiling as he slowly fell asleep. Gojo stood there, dumbfounded.
-”Yeah.. Good night.. Snake.” murmured Gojo to himself. He stood there for a while, processing what just happened today the whole day before standing up and walking into his room. He laid down on his bed, turning his phone completely off and setting it aside as he began thinking about today. Gojo couldn’t believe himself, despite knowing he isn’t allowed to fall in love or adore anyone or even glance at anyone the wrong way, he was still falling for the stupid, old and stinky man that threatens him more than he compliments him. He rolled in the bed, trying to get rid of the thoughts and feelings but couldn’t help himself. Gojo hated himself for having these thoughts and feelings for someone who clearly didn’t even dare to think of such things. He knew he broke so many of DOOM’s rules and is now afraid of what may come next from DOOM. He also knew he fell in love with someone that as soon as he saw a way out of this place he would immediately go through it with no hesitation of looking back or even thinking of the life he had here.
Gojo was truly doomed, he rolled around a few more times, deciding to think about what he was going to do tomorrow with his students. He unfortunately fell asleep thinking about the plan and ideas he had to spend with his students.

-AT DOOM'S PLACE-

DOOM began checking his phone every minute to see if Gojo had responded to him, but nothing. The messages were still left on delivered.
-”Son of a...!” said DOOM, as he turned on his computer and looked through Gojo’s home cameras, only to see him sleeping.
-”DOOM knew something was up, there was no way he could've ignored DOOM! It's because of that putrid snake!” said DOOM, as he took out his phone and began to call someone.
-”...What..? Who is this?” asked the woman.
-”It’s DOOM. DOOM requires help exterminating a certain limbless reptile and his friends.” answered DOOM, slowly tapping his desk in a rhythmic move.
-”Why..? Especially so damn late?” asked the woman, once again.
-”Not right now, tomorrow. They're planning something DOOM doesn't quite enjoy, and I need some female firepower, Valeria.” answered DOOM, periodically looking at Gojo for signs of movement.
-”Ugh... Fine, but you better pay me well after that. Now let me sleep.” said Valeria, as she hung up.
DOOM began to laugh but immediately stopped himself.
-”No, DOOM can not laugh yet, DOOM must still hold it in.” said DOOM to himself. He changed the camera view to Snake’s room.
-”Just you wait, you wretched snake. DOOM will not show any mercy to you anymore.”  said DOOM to himself before closing his computer.
