As I watched a retreating Shawn walk away to the school grounds the only thing I could think about at that moment was
"Am I even at the right school? " Like literally Shawn was wearing a navy jumper with grey trousers while I was wearing a vine jumper with a grey almost navy skirt.
I hesitated for a moment to consider the information I had so far it's either the boys and girls had different uniforms or I was actually lost and my parents screwed up again.
I decided on the latter. I started approaching the three story brownish yellowish school. I was completely and utterly shocked at how my parents managed to afford such a good looking school for me to say if it were my school.
As I entered the school premises I was greeted by a roar and laughter of other teenagers attending this secondary school.
"Excuse me," I had walked up to a girl with long black braids carrying a pink bag, I could clearly see she had done her eyebrows which suited her facial features.
In one word to describe this girl she was....really pretty,
"Yes" I heard her reply. "Sorry I'm just a bit lost and I was wondering if you could guide me to the reception?" I asked.
I could tell the girl was eyeing me carefully which offered me a second chance to observe her.
She was shorter than me for sure at a height about 5'5 I'm guessing, her chocolatey skin made her brown eyes stand out.
"Yeah sure... and your name is?" she asked glancing at me a bit confused.
"Oh right, sorry I'm Sophia" I answered "Exaucee" she replied.
I was completely stunned at how beautiful her name sounded out loud. "It's pronounced Ex-o-ce" I blushed a little bit after realising what I had done.
I had attempted to pronounce her name and failed miserably.
She suddenly grabbed my wrist and started leading me towards the main building. I glanced around at all the boys chatting to one another waiting for the bell for assembly to ring.
I laughed a bit when I saw a short blond haired boy try skidding against the ground to be knocked into a larger girl who started cursing at him.
When we had entered the school I was truly shocked, the flooring was black marble, the wall was full off posters of different stuff I'm assuming the school has part taken in, while underneath the posters the wall was white.
I won't go into to much detail about the school, it was like a normal school you would be going to or would have went to but apart from that the school was spotless.
"Is this your first day?" Exaucee asked "Yeah I'm starting 3rd year" I replied fiddling with my padlock and key for my future locker.
"Ah really I'm in third year too, such an exciting year don't you think" I glanced at her for a second and started laughing.
She looked a bit weirded out at my actions and shortly after she started laughing too.
"What's so funny Sophia? " she asked after calming down from her fits of laughter " 3rd year is definitely not exciting" I replied in a serious tone " For all I know I might die through my art exams".
She looked at me and smiled and continued leading me to the reception area.
After a moment or two had passed I heard a girl calling out Exaucee's name. We both stopped and turned back and saw a group of about three girls and two guys.
When they finally reached us I noticed one of them was staring at me intently "Are you deaf or something I've been calling your name since the school gate" the girl closest to me had said.
I looked at her and noticed how beautiful she was, her brown hair cascaded down to reach past her shoulders, she was tall about 5'7 and had hazel eyes and chocolatey skin.
"Sorry I was bringing my new friend to the reception" Exaucee said
"What is she lost or something?" one of the guys had said.
"Well," Exaucee replied " If someone is new and they don't know where they are going or where the reception is that makes them freaking lost you dipshit" she said in a hurried tone.
I stifled a laugh and looked at the clock on the wall saying half past eight "Shoot", I thought I have fifteen minutes left
"This is Sophia" Exaucee said pointing towards me "And these are my friends; Shopa, Gary, Evelynn, Sarah and Luke" she said pointing towards each of them.
I looked at Shopa the girl she had first introduced , 'Do all of them have beautiful names or what?' I thought.
"Hi" I said waving a bit. Evelynn looked at me and smiled like a Cheshire cat "Hiiii" she said in a sing song voice.
Evelynn was about 5'4 and she was really pretty, Sarah on the other hand was the same height as Shopa she wasn't looking at me, instead she was staring at her phone.
As for the boys they both looking 5'8, Gary had chestnut brown hair and green eyes while Luke had blonde hair with static blue eyes.
As I finished observing everyone I turned to Exaucee " I really need to start heading to the office now" I said glancing at the clock realising I had less than seven minutes left.
" OH, yeah sorry" she looked at me then at Shopa "Shopa could you bring Sophia to the office?"
"Weren't you going to bring her first, I can't miss assembly I'm in enough trouble as it is"
"Please Shopa, I haven't even gone to my locker yet" exaucee pleaded with Shopa.
Shopa glanced at me then at Exaucee "Ah sure why not" and with that she started walking in front of me
"C'mon slow coach before you get me late," she said while eyeing me.
And the only thing I thought at the moment was
'I already like these guys'
