As school finished and I said my goodbyes to my friends and started heading home. I started thinking.
You know life is a bit strange. Like how did this world come into existence. What are we made from not saying that I'm dumb, I obviously know we have bones blood and cells in our body. But speaking in a non scientific way. I wish I had a better life without my family but with my friends.
I reached my front door of my two story vine house. Admiring the flowers and plant in our front yard, I remember when my mother and brother used to come out on a sunny day and plant different flowers and my dad would just come out to admire their work, ha, that same day I was stuck cleaning the attic. I was 10.
I rang the doorbell twice before I saw my little brother Tony open the door. "Hi" he greeted me half smiling. "Hi how was your first day of school" I asked a bit concerned on the matter had he made friends or not.
"Mmm... It was fine, I made new friends" he looked at his palm and then at my face. "What about you".
"To be honest I really enjoyed school well apart from classes, I made a few friends too who are real cool" I said smiling.
Tony had moved away from the front door so I could enter my house. My house was like any other normal house, pictures and canvases hung on the wall we had a huge black rug in the living room with a flat screen TV that sat at the corner of the room with one black sofa and three black chairs.
I started approaching the kitchen to find my mother sitting at the table reading a magazine.
"Good afternoon ma" I greeted my mother " School was good I assume" she replied flicking to the next page on her magazine.
I remember when I was thirteen and my mother started going to the gym to "loose" non existent weight. She asked me if she looked fat and I told her she looked nice and slim. The next day she had turned my room into her personal 'gym' and said it was punishment for not telling her the truth.
"Yeah" I said beginning to stand from one foot to another. I really had to use the bathroom but if either one of my parents where talking to me I couldn't leave until they dismissed me like what the fudge.
"Okay get started on your homework" she flicked her wrist indicating for me to basically get out of her sight.
After I finished relieving myself I started on my homework. I had maths, French, geography and science homework.
To say my assignments were hard would be an understatement. I was doing Albert Einsteins homework. I thought I would've lost my mind until I remembered that I had the groups number and that Exaucee had made a group chat.
I turned on my iPhone and saw that I had 22 text messages on viber and 3 missed calls from Evelynn.
Evelynn- hey guys
Shawn- shouldn't you be doing homework
Evelynn - lol yeah I think I broke my brain doing geography
Shopa- does anyone know how Sarah is doing
Shawn- does it look like I fucking know
Evelynn - mind yourself chap
Shopa- I texted her and called her she hasn't replied
Luke- she's probably not home or something :)
Exaucee- I think she turned off her wifi to sleep :/
