1 month after the hearing (March 27)
Ivy looks at me her eyes wide before she breaks out into a wide smile
"Summer... I think you just found the one", she says her dimples popping while her long goddess braid curls bounce as she jumps with excitement.
"I mean damn I think you may be right", I say staring back into the large body mirror at a loss for words.
"I hate to say it and boost her ego but Ivy has impeccable taste when it comes to dresses, damn Summer you are living up to your name because you are hot", Rami says nodding her head in approval.
"At this point, I'm the personal stylist of this group your welcome girls", she says cockily crossing her arms.
"Oh my God here she goes", I say as we all laugh.
I can't believe this is me right now, it's been a while since I've formally dressed up for anything and the visuals I was getting came as a vibrant and pleasant shock for me.
"Oh we're so gonna eat up for spring fling," Ivy says holding her shopping bag.
"You already know it", Rami adds high-fiving her.

Rami had picked out a vibrant red dress with ruffles that made her short black bob pop in the most charming way. She had recently decided to cut her long black locs which I think was a great choice she fits short hair perfectly.
Ivy had chosen a baby blue mermaid dress with an open back that flattered her long legs immensely and caused her light brown goddess braids to look absolutely stunning.
As for me, The beautiful satin sage green dress that Ivy had picked out fit me like a glove and brought out my curves in the most elegant way. Not to mention the top hem of the dress was embroidered with vibrant colored flowers.
This extremely last-minute dress shopping was totally worth it.
I was in love and all I could think of was what Kai's face would look like when he sees me in this jaw-dropping dress.
I grin to myself and fluff my strawberry blonde hair doing some poses in the store boutique mirror.
"How much do you wanna bet she's thinking of Kai right now?", Rami says slightly turning to Ivy
"I'd bet my whole lifeline to be honest", Ivy says making them both burst out with laughter.

"Oh so it's like that huh, don't act like I didn't catch the vibe going on between you and Mikey these days", I say making her visibly grow nervous and flustered.
"I KNEW I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE", Rami screams out startling the both of us.
"It's the Boston accent isn't it", I say flexing my eyebrows at her.
