KAI BRENT

   I messed up

it's been 24 hours since I avoided Summer and now she won't even glance at me. I swear if I don't look into her almond-shaped round hazel eyes again I think I'm going to break both mentally and physically.

I shouldn't have pushed her away, but I just can't make any mistakes again.

I mean Summer was far from the problem she was insanely attractive and sometimes just looking at her gets me hard.

Hell even thinking about her makes me wanna-....was that too much? yeah, I need to calm down. Back to my main concern.

Anyway, I don't know what to do, I wanna open up to her but saying it out loud makes it feel so much more real. When I'm with her everything feels real

I only have one option currently.

Advice from Jay.

honestly, this could end up being a worst-case scenario because most of his advice despite being the best friend I've ever had was complete shit.

currently, everyone was outside at the resort's poolside, I was sunbathing with some of the guys while Jay was flirting with a more than usual crazy amount of girls. Something about the California Valley girls made Jay much more excited or perhaps Jay excited them more than the usual Polo t-shirt golf-playing proper guy.

Now the real problem is gonna be getting his attention.

"Jay! 5'6 busty brown skin with goddess braids!", I yell making his head snap immediately his dreads quickly moving in the hot air.

Jay immediately dashes out of the pool leaving the girls frowning and stunned.

He lays on an extra beach chair beside me with heavy breathing trying to look cool and throws on some shades.

"Where?", he asks collecting himself and trying to look normal.

"Oh, I think she left sorry man," I say holding my laugh to the point of pain.

Jay sits up giving me a look that tells me I've been caught.

"Man I knew your bitchass was lying", Jay says genuinely angry.

"It's not my fault you probably scared her off when she saw you running over here like a mad dog", I say between laughs.

He gets ready to deliver one of his famous punches and I quickly throw my hands up in surrender.

"Hey I need your advice seriously so don't get in your feelings J", I say making him calm down.

"uh what is it now Brent", he says rolling his eyes with a smile.

Secretly he loves it when I ask him for advice and it's painfully obvious although I'm glad he doesn't know how I actually feel about most of his advice.
