JIN-WOO STARED AT THE
two entities that were literally the definition of polar opposites standing in front of him with a "what the fuck" face. This was uncalled for. Just a day before, he introduced his 'Shadows' to Y/N. The next moment? She wounds up at his door with a similar power. It was too much of a coincidence to just brush it off as some 'relic' that Y/N claimed she found in a recent dungeon she cleared.

"C'mon," she prompted to the two entities, "shake hands already. I wonder if there's gonna be some reaction when physical embodiments of light and shadow make contact. What do you think, Jin-Woo?" Y/N was absolutely ecstatic to show off her new power... and to technically match with her bestie.

Jin-Woo snapped out of his thoughts of placing constant suspicion on her and sweat-dropped. "Oh. Yeah. We can try," he said, his response as dry as ever. Would it kill him to not be the exact definition of some nonchalant dreadhead?

Poor Igris looked uncomfortable, but that was the case whenever Y/N was around. She was pretty and she was weird. Meanwhile, 'Ray' looked confused as hell. It hadn't even been a day since he took form and he was meeting this random dude with unsurprising aura and his... companion.

Igris looked over to his master, and seeing him nod, the poor Shadow dreaded the next moment. And so, he raised his hand in the air, waiting for the other entity to reciprocate. 'Ray', who still didn't have a name, shrugged and (somehow) haughtily raised his hand as well. Light and shadow just did a handshake. And nothing happened.

Well that's disappointing.

Jin-Woo breathed out a sigh of relief.

Y/N visibly frowned in disappointment, crossing her arms. If her dad were here (he was at home), he would also feel the same way. Igris and 'Ray' were incredibly relieved that they hadn't exploded or turned into some alpha-omega dynamic shit like the girl expected. What the hell was wrong with her? Jin-Woo almost laughed, had it not been or the fact that even he thought she was a weirdo. Plus, he still doubted her.

Y/N could practically quote his thoughts.

I bet he's thinking "I need to keep tabs on her at this point. This is too much of a coincidence and she's messing up my nice-guy personality *growls dangerously*. I need to probably have a Shadow attached to her so I can NOT be a pervert and spy on her every move. She's hiding something but we're gonna ignore that I am too. *glares*
