A DREAM , A DRAGON AND THEN ME

chapter one

Carrie's pov

I'm here alone at work, I left school a week ago and got this job here working in a florist's.

 Mrs Small is a nice women but, I hate this job each night after work, I go to the local coffee shop for an hour.

As my sister May will have her boyfriend John over and I hate him.

I look at the clock and see it's 5pm only another half hour to go and then I can get out of here and have my coffee and bagel.

 Before I have to go home and listen to my sister, go on about how wonderful John is, gag.

I start to put the flower's away in the cold locker so they stay fresh when I hear the bell ring.

I walk back through and see John, I roll my eye's. " Hello sir how may I help you ". He smile's I hate him so much.

" Hello Carrie, I would like a dozen red rose's for May ". I nod and start to get the rose's which I had just put out back when he says.

 " Add some lilies too ". I nod again and make up the flower's for him, I then hand him the flower's he pay's me with a wad of cash and then he leave's.

Yes he is loaded he is a millionaire that is why I hate him, he is so up himself  you know the type.

 I'm rich and your not, of course my sister is hopelessly in love with the fool.

Falcon's pov

I'm walking down this street which is full of human's, they have no idea that we live above them in the mountain's here in romania.

 I have left as I can't be around my fellow dragon's as it is mating season in our realm.

As one of the dragon lord's I have to mate to produce an heir which, I can't do at the moment.

As I have no mate I'm one of the rarest dragon's, as I'm am the last golden dragon, so my heir is important to our kingdom and our realm.

I need a mate that I can be myself around and that I am attracted to.

 I have found none as yet, all the female's in our realm are bland and boring.

 I have to fake everything that is why I'm here in the human realm, walking about.

I'm so lost in my thought's of what I have to go back to that I'm not looking where i'm going.

When bam I walk into someone. " I'm so sorry are you...... ". Wow she is stunning she has long blonde hair, blue eye's, full red lip's she is breath taking.

I offer her my hand and she take's it. " I'm fine, thank's for the hand up . It was my fault I should have been looking where I was going ". I smile.

" Where are you going pretty Lady ". She smile's and blushe's. " For a coffee would you like to join me ".

She seem's a bit taken a back by what she has said but, I nod and we walk to a little coffee shop on the corner of this street.

I open the door and she walk's inside with a smile. We take a seat near the back of the coffee shop.

 I watch as she order's a coffee and a bagel, I order the same thing. 

" May I ask for you name please ". She blushe's again. " I'm so sorry how rude of me ". She hold's her hand out and I take it. " I'm Carrie Light ".

" Hello Carrie, I'm Falcon Bright ". She giggle's. " What so funny ". She look's at the waitress as she place's our order on the table.

 " Are name's almost match ". I smile she is right they do.

" How about we just stick with Falcon and Carrie ". She smile's. " Okay Falcon, though that is a strange name, Falcon I like the way it sound's ". I love the way she says my name.

Carrie's pov

 I'm having coffee with Falcon, I have only just met him yet he seem's really nice.

 I like him alot, we finish our drink's and bagel's and we go for a walk in the park we just talk about thing's you know the weather and such like.

He does have a strange name Falcon, it's as if he was named after a bird of some sort.

Mmm never mind he seem's really nice, well it's starting to get dark and I have to head home as May will be woried.

" Well it was really nice to meet you Falcon but, I have to be heading home ". He look's sad by this fact.

 " Do you have a boyfriend Carrie ". I shake my head, no thank's the last one was a right pain.

 Very clingly and wouldn't leave me alone, I couldn't breathe. " No I don't, I live with my sister ".

Why am I telling him all this I've only known him what an hour maybe two.

I turn to walk away but, he stop's me. " Let me at least walk you home ". I nod and he does though it's not far as I live right across from the park.

He leave me at the door and I wave goodbye as I go in and close the door.

 I go up to our flat and see John is still here so, I go to my room and lie on my bed and then I close my eye's and dream of the stranger I met called Falcon.
