Taylor's POV: 

Benji lets out a loud purr as he rolls around on the fuzzy white rug in front of the roaring fireplace. Chuckling at his antics I glance out the window and see the snow is really starting to come down heavily. Kansas City is supposed to get one of the worst snow and ice storms they've had in years and it looks like the weathermen got this one right. Looking over at the clock seeing it nearing 5:00pm I let out a sigh as Travis's practice should be ending here soon. Normally Trav stays late and talks strategy with Pat, but with them going into a bye week and the snow storm they decided against it. My phone ringing pulls me out of my thoughts and I see Brittney's name appear on my phone. 

"Hey Brit." 

"Tay babe, I'm freaking out! Our power went out about 40 minutes ago and when I called they said something exploded and they don't know when they can send someone out due to the roads. What am I going to do? Pat still isn't home and the kids are screaming and let me tell you, if this stress causes me to go into early labor, I'm going to have a panic attack." Brit cries out and I sit up straight on the couch.

"Ok girl, just breathe. Here's what you are going to do. Pack up the kids things and a bag for you and Pat. I will send Steve to come get you so you don't have to drive on these roads and you can just stay here with Trav and I. We have the space and I would feel better if you have people around in case you do go into labor. Unfortunately, due to my profession, all of my security team are medically trained so they can help in the worst case scenario . I'll call Trav and have him and Pat just come straight here. Ok?" I say calmly while texting Steve the change in plans. 

"Are you sure? Two kids under 2, your boyfriends work wife, and a very pregnant lady all under your roof during a blizzard is a lot Tay." 

"Never been more sure. Now get packing, Steve is leaving here now in the SUV so pack whatever you need for the kids and get over here so you guys don't freeze." We say our goodbyes and I quickly dial Travis's number knowing him and Pat will be leaving in a minute and I want to catch him before they do.

"Hey Tay, practice just finished. I'll be heading home soon." He says the second the phone connects.

"That's great, be safe it's getting bad out there. Is Pat still there?" I ask quickly cutting out the pleasantries. 

"Uh, yeah? Why?" He asks confused.

"Put me on speaker please." I say walking into the kitchen evaluating what food we have here that the kids will eat. 

"Um okay. Pat, Tay wants to talk to you." 

"Hey Tay!" Pat yells out cheerfully.

"Hey Pat, have you looked at your phone yet?" I ask digging around in our pantry seeing a almost full Costco sized box of fruit snacks that we had bought for Travis's nieces a few weeks ago.

"Uh no, not yet. Why?" He asks confused. 

"Ok so don't panic, but Brit just called me saying you lost power at your house and they have no idea when you will get it back. She was really worried about going into early labor during this storm, so I sent Steve over to your house to collect her and the kids to stay with us until you guys have power." I ramble out quickly. 

"Oh shit. Are you sure it's ok to stay with you guys? I can get a hotel, wouldn't be a problem." I hear Pat ask Travis.

"You are not getting a hotel dude. You're staying with us, we have the space and you know its safe with Tay's team here." Travis says.
