A bitter smile crept onto his lips. Maybe this was it-maybe he had finally become someone who didn't matter anymore. Jimin had tried reaching out to his friends too, but one by one, their phones were busy. No one was there. No one ever was.

Jimin's POV:

I walked up to the terrace with tears in my eyes, hoping to find some solitude. But as expected, someone was already there. It was midnight who else could be here at this hour?

"Hello?" I called out hesitantly.

The figure turned, and to my surprise, it was Namjoon hyung. Okk… I need him right now.

The moment I saw him, the tears I'd been holding back came rushing down. He noticed and immediately motioned for me to sit beside him. "What happened? Tell me," he asked gently.

I wiped my face, took a deep breath, and told him everything how Jk was constantly by Somi's side, how I felt lost and insecure, and how it felt like he wasn't truly mine anymore, how we argued few minutes ago and he told me not to play the victim."

Namjoon hyung listened patiently and then said, "kook isn’t wrong, Jimin. He can’t just abandon Somi suddenly… and not you either."

I nodded weakly, my mind still clouded with doubt. "I don’t know what my heart wants anymore, hyung. Sometimes I just feel like running away from all this no love, no pain. But what can I do? Nothing makes sense. It feels like… Jk is mine, yet not really mine."

Hyung looked at me with understanding eyes and sighed. "I once loved someone too."

His words caught my attention. I looked at him, curiosity flickering in my teary eyes. "And?"

He smiled faintly, his eyes lost in old memories. "We loved each other deeply. We even dreamed of a future together… babies, a little home. He loved my baby brother like his own too, even though he had never met him. He would just listen in the background when we talked on calls. we used to joke about raising three kids together." He chuckled softly, but there was a deep sadness hidden beneath it. "But maybe love was never meant for me. In the end, we had to part ways."

Hearing his story, I quickly wiped my tears and asked, "What was his name?"

Hyung just looked at me, smiled softly, and shook his head. "Some names are best left in the past, Jimin."

We both sat there in silence, each lost in our own pain. The cold breeze touched our skin, but inside, the ache felt warmer than ever.

In that moment, sitting on the terrace under the vast midnight sky, I realized that heartbreak was universal whether in the past or present, it left the same scars.

Authors POV:

Meanwhile, Jungkook was caught up in something he couldn't escape Somi's health. He was with her at the hospital for check-ups, and in his frustration, he chose to ignore Jimin completely. If I tell him I'm with Somi, he'll get angry again, Jungkook thought, feeling exhausted by the never-ending tension.

Jimin sat at his desk, tears rolling down his cheeks as he picked up a pen and started writing. One letter after another. Each one carefully addressed to his friends, finally, to Jungkook....or his Jk.

The weight in his chest felt suffocating, but as he closed the last envelope, a strange sense of relief settled over him. He packed his suitcase quietly, leaving behind everything that once made this place feel like home.

He packed his entire belongings, leaving behind everything the memories, the love, the pain. He was done.

The next morning, Suga returned to the dorm, expecting to find Jimin curled up in bed or scrolling through his phone. But the room was eerily empty. The closet doors were left ajar, and on the desk, neatly arranged, were the letters. His heart pounded in his chest.
