The house was filled with chatter and laughter as everyone gathered in the living room.
Seokjin was also present there because everyone had forced him, and everyone was very excited. So he agreed, thinking that his child would get a new friend. So, they were all there Hobi,Jimin,Taehyung ,Suga and Jungkook's parents.
everyone was talking, and the two kids were playing with each other, a little bundle of endless energy.
The babies, giggling, ran around the living area, his small feet pattering against the wooden floors.
Everyone watched him fondly, their hearts light for the first time that day.
As he played, the toddler’s eyes caught something a wall filled with framed family photographs.
He waddled over, his tiny finger pointing excitedly at one particular picture.
"Appa, Dada!" the baby chirped, his voice loud in the heavy silence. "Appa Dada pic!"
Everyone turned at once.
Jin, who had been chatting softly with Suga and Hobi, froze mid-sentence.
His legs move toward where the child was pointing.
It was a photograph.
A smiling young man Jungkook’s elder brother standing proudly beside him.
Before anyone could react, Jin rushed forward.
His knees hit the floor hard as he stared up at the photo.
His face crumbled.
Tears sprang to his eyes, blurring the frame as he clutched at it desperately.
"No... no..." Jin whispered, voice cracking.
Everyone was stunned into silence.
Jungkook’s parents stepped closer, confusion and dread mixing on their faces.
Jins sobs filled the room.
Raw. Broken. Honest.
Finally, between gasps, he spoke:
"He... he was mine.
Gasps echoed around the room.
Jungkook’s mother covered her mouth with her hands, tears welling up.
Jungkook’s father stumbled back a step, pale as a ghost.
Jin pressed his forehead against the frame, his whole body shaking.
"He told me... he promised me... that we would tell the family together. He said we would face everything. And the day he tried... he never came back..."
The room felt like it was collapsing under the weight of his words.
Hobi, Taehyung, Suga and Jimin stood frozen, unsure if they should step in.
Jin’s voice grew quieter, almost a whisper meant only for the man in the photo:
The toddler, sensing the sadness, toddled over and hugged Jin's side, confused but wanting to comfort him.
Jungkook’s mom finally found her voice, shaking and broken:
"You... you were the one he loved?"
Her voice cracked with a mix of regret, guilt, and heartbreak.
Jin nodded wordlessly, too choked to speak.
She collapsed onto the sofa, tears running freely down her face.
"I thought... all this time about you.
We tried really hard to find you, but we never could. Where have you been all this time?"
Jin looked up, his face stained with tears.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Heavy.
Irreversible.
Every lie, every buried truth had clawed its way to the surface tonight.
And there was no going back.
After telling the whole truth and crying for a while, Jungkook's mom says to Jin, "Enough now, from today onwards you’ll live with us, along with our grandson."
She gently strokes her grandson’s head with love and says, “Whatever work you’re doing, do it from here. Even if our son isn’t here, his partner is… and so is his son.”
Jungkook's dad also agrees, nodding in approval.
Jin replies, “eomma, I just have a few things to take care of. I’ll finish them today and come back tomorrow to stay here forever. Today, I’m leaving your grandson with you all.”
Agreeing, Jungkook’s mom says, “Alright then, now everyone have lunch.”
Everyone nods.
After lunch, everyone gathered again, this time with a plan brewing in their minds. They knew they had to act quickly if they wanted things to go their way.
"Okay, listen up," Taehyung said, lowering his voice. "You need to distract Jungkook."
Everyone nodded. “And while you take Jungkook somewhere else, we’ll keep Naya busy. She won’t even notice what’s happening.”
Jimin leaned in. “Yeah, if we all play it smart, this might actually work.”
“And the rest of us,” said Suga, “will handle the drama queen.”
They all exchanged glances, a silent agreement hanging in the air. This was risky, but it had to be done.
Their plan was simple but sharp: divide and distract. While Jimin would lead Jungkook away from the party, the others would keep Naya occupied, throwing her off just long enough.
Now, all they needed was perfect timing.
And nerves of steel.
