Chapter Two{SIX YEARS EARLIER part two}

     By the angel, she said yes. "I love you, Clarebear." I whispered as I kissed her again.

   Walking back to the institute I'm watching Ryder run ahead as Clary and Magnus talk. Since Izzy and Simon took the car. Grabbing her hand I smile when she looks up at me. Suddenly we all heard a loud scream glancing up at Ryder I see that he was being cornered by demons.

     "RYDER!" Clary yelled as she ran forward I looked at Alec and nodded. Rushing forward I jump in fighting my way to my son. No one is going to hurt him. After killing all the demon I look to make sure everyone's all right.

   "DADDY, MAMA!" I heard Ryder yell looking towards him I see someone I never wanted to see again.

  "Hello, Clarissa. Long time." He say while holding Ryder's arm.

  "Let him go, Nathan." Clary says looking at them.

  "Why would I do that? He's such a good boy. I could make him like me." Nathan chuckles darkly and I see Clary pale.

   "No! Don't you dare." Clary yells scared, "He's a baby." I was trying to come up with a plan to get Ryder away from him when I saw something move behind them. Then Nathan was thrown down the alley and Ryder was picked up. When he stood up I noticed it was Ricky.

   "Hey, I was in the neighborhood and thought I would stop by and say hi." he says handing Ryder to Clary, "Guess it was good that I was." I was handed Ryder as Clary pulled Ricky into a hug.

    "Sorry to ruin the moment," Alec says, "but he's gone."

    Looking at where Nathan was minutes ago, "Shit." I mumble under my breath when I see that he was in deed gone.

   "Don't worry,  little man." I say as he cuts off my air supply, "We should get back to the institute. So we can start looking for him." They all agree and after saying by to Ricky and making plans to meet up soon we headed home.

     Clary took Ryder from me and started singing softly to him as she started towards her room. So he could sleep.

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES IF TEN MILLION FIREFLIES LIT UP THE WORLD AS I FELL ASLEEP

CAUSE THEY FILL THE OPEN AIR LEAVE TEAR DROPS EVERYWHERE

BUT I WOULD JUST STAND AND STARE I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE

THAT PLANET EARTH TURNS SLOWLY IT HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY WAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP

CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS CAUSE I'D GET A THOUSAND HUGS

FROM TEN THOUSAND LIGHTING BUGS AS THEY TRY TO TEACH ME HOW TO DANCE

A FOX TROT ABOVE MY HEAD A SOCK HOP BENEATH MY BED

THE DISCO BALL IS JUST HANGING BY A THREAD

I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE THAT PLANET EARTH TURNS SLOWLY

IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP

CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS WHEN I FALL ASLEEP

LEAVE MY DOOR OPEN JUST A CRACK PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE

CAUSE I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN INSOMNIAC PLEASE TAKE ME AWY FROM HERE

WHY DO I TIRE OF COUNTYING SHEEP  PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE

WHEN I'M FAR TO TIRED TO FALL ASLEEP TO TEN MILLION FIREFLIES

I'M WEIRD CAUSE I HATE GOODBYES I GOT MISTY EYED AS THEY SAID FAREWELL

BUT I'LL KNOW WHERE SEVERAL ARE IF MY DREAMS GET REAL BIZARRE

CAUSE I SAVED A FEW AND I KEEP THEM IN A JAR

I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE THAT PLANETEARTH TURNS SLOWLY

ITS HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP

CAUSE EVRYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS WHEN I FALL ASLEEP

I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE THAT PLANET EARTH TURNS SLOWLY

ITS HARD TO SAY I'D RATHAR STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP

CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS WHEN I FALL ASLEEP

ITS HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER ATAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP

BECAUSE MY DREAMS ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS

   I smile from the doorway, "Come on. Lets go see if we can find this guy so we can get rid of him." I say as she stands up and hugs me.
