Hey guys! I am SO excited to get back to posting and sharing this story with you all, *tomorrow*!!!! Before we get to it, though, I have one last thing I want to address in the story here, and I'd appreciate everybody taking the time to read it.
I've said as much in the pinned announcement on my profile, and I debated whether to make it a chapter in this story too, but it's important to me that everyone sees this, and I know not all my readers necessarily follow me. So: although a big reason I took a break from this story was business in my non-Wattpad life, another big factor was some disenchantment with the Harry Potter franchise as JK Rowling got more and more aggresive about spewing hate and preaching anti-trans pedantry and bigotry, especially as she's activley used her profits from the series to make the world a less safe place for the trans community. So, before we dive back into Alexa's story, I want to make one thing absolutely clear: this account, these books, and every single one of my characters support trans people and trans rights. Alexa's story means the world to me, and I know it means a lot to other people, too, so we're not going to let JKR and her shortsided, smallminded views ruin any of that. But hatred, bigotry, and intolerance of any kind are not welcome here, and never will be.
