Hello everybody!!!! Lol it's been a minute (and by a minute I mean like two months, OOF).
I come bearing good news! As of today, I've officially submitted my last final for this past semester, and I now officially have free time again! (It feels like a trap. There must be some assignment due in the middle of break that I'm missing, right?)
ANYWAY, if the above text didn't already give you a clue, I've been pretty completely offline for the last two months while my junior fall of college KICKED my ASS. It was literal hell, and it almost killed me, but I made it through! Yay!!
Now, for the part I'm sure you're most excited about, the writing update: As promised, I WILL be continuing An American at Hogwarts. I'm going to finish that series whatever it takes, one way or another. It's just been a little delayed thanks to the past few months of school.
As much as I want to quickly knock out a chapter and post it right away, I don't want to leave you guys hanging like this again, so I'm going to use the break to get ahead on chapters to make sure I can post consistently throughout the next semester. I don't have the complete details of how often I'll be posting or when I'll be starting again yet, but you can expect Chapter Thirty-One sometime between January 17th and January 19th, 2022 (God, is that even a real year? Yikes).
If something changes in my plans, I'll do my best to give you guys a heads up ASAP. Just know that I'm incredibly committed to this series and determined to finish it, so no cliffhanger will last forever. For everybody that's stuck with me throughout this long, long, WAY longer than planned hiatus, thank you so much. I appreciate the kind words and patience so so so much, and it makes it so much easier to come back to writing after such a long break when I know my readers are so kind and supportive. When I'm super exhausted and stressed about getting back into everything after so many months away, you guys make it easier and help me take that leap.
Seriously, I love you guys so much. I couldn't have asked for a better group of readers.
One last fun note to hold y'all over until January: while I was away, the first book of this series reached ONE MILLION READS!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I've literally been screaming and crying over it for so long you guys, omg I can't believe it. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME GET TO THIS POINT!!!!!!
