"Move out of the way whore!"
"Move or you'll get what's coming!"
"Why don't you just die, no body cares about you anyways!"
I've heard those same remarks everyday for the pat three months, every since my ex-boyfriend cheated on me and my mom vanished. I've been the main target for bullying at this cruel place we call school.
It seemed I only had one loyal friend in this thing we presume is reality and life, it's Yukino, the only friend that would take me in when my mother vanished.
Seriously, people are stupid, bullying me just because my EX-boyfriend of 3 years cheated on me and is now dating that retched slut. Pardon my small French.
I rolled my eyes as more threats and words were plastered at me. It was kind of amusing to see them act so idiotically.
'Oh, look, here comes my favorite one.'
"Ah, Sting, when did I deserve to be in your presence?" I said with a sky smirk.
"Just move and there won't be any problems." Sting growled.
Oh, that's right. Where am I, you may ask. I'm currently in my hometown class, math, sitting in a seat that isn't mine. In fact it belongs to Sting's snobby, bitchy, and completely sadistic girlfriend, Minerva.
Everybody hates her, really. I'm just standing up to her like everyone wants to. I mean maybe Minerva was cool when we were back in grade school but once entering High School, she became a real bitch.
"Oh, no. You see, there already is a problem. The problem is you're dating a huge bitch and everybody hates her." I kept on smirking.
Then a stinging sensation sprouted on my cheek. I placed my hand there, wincing as I touched it. Tears sprung to my eyes, but I held them back, as if I'd cry and show weakness.
I stared at my once best friend, his face contorted into an angry posture. His blonde hair fell into his eyes lightly, and his blue eyes bore into my soul, making my knees go weak.
I can't believe he slapped me! I mean, he was my best friend, did he forget about our promises.
~Flashback~
It was back when Sting and I were children, about 10 years old. Sting and I were sitting in his room, playing with his new kitten he had gotten while our parents spoke.
"So what's his name?" I had asked.
"It's Lector." Sting said joyously and a bit loudly.
We laughed and joked while we were there together. Our little voices echoed in his room.
"Hey, (Y/N), can I tell you something?" Sting had asked all of a sudden.
"Ya, go ahead." I answered, as the polite child I was.
"I promise that no one is ever going to hurt you. If anyone hurts you or hits you, come straight to me, I'll beat them up." Sting said while holding his pinky out to me.
"Alright I will, and I also have a promise for you. When we're old enough I promise that it's you who I marry because I love you." Then I licked pinkies with him.
~End of Flashback~
"You broke your promise..." I spoke quietly.
"What was that, I couldn't quite hear your pathetic voice." Sting spoke, his friends laughing behind him.
"I said you broke your ducking promise." I screamed at him, picking up all my stuff, "At least I didn't break mine."
"You mean the stupid promises we made as kids? We were kids, (Y/N), we don't mean what we say." He looked at me sternly.
"Well maybe I did!" Then I stormed out of the class, heading towards the rooftop, where I feel safe.
I hate this reality called life. This one simple word has so many meanings, yet I'm not one of them.
