"Is this the last one?" I asked, twirling the ends of my hair, bored out of my mind. The last couple of hours were wasted, and only to see a group of young eligible men come inside to tell me cheesy quotes on how there desperately in love with me. And guess what?.........They just met me!
"Yes, ma'am, this is the last one on the list. Group B is due tomorrow." Group B? How many lists were there? I rubbed my eyes as I looked up, irritated. I waved my hand in the air, "Let him come in." I answer, blowing a blast of air. Here we go again......

“MOM!” I holler once I get out the doors leading me outside. I knew exactly where she would be, and that was the garden. I was right. She had an apron around her waist and her blonde hair was pulled up in a bun. She seemed occupied as she dug her hands inside the dirt,
“Mom!” I shout as I run towards her, “Aren't you supposed to be inside with Mrs. White?” she rubbed the dirt of her fingers on her apron, as she turned around to glance at me.
“Mother, I'm tired of meeting men. Can't I just not marry and rule this Kingdom by myself?” I ask, even though I knew the answer to it.
"No." she answered, just like I thought. Typical, a woman couldn't rule unless she was married. Married? Sometimes I wonder why on earth people invented such a word. Matrimonial, nuptial, conjugal, connubial, and marital. All the same meaning; if it wasn't for Mrs. White and her high vocabulary then I wouldn't know where to begin!
I groan, as she repeats the same words I hoped not to hear, “No.”
“But mother,” “No buts, Julie. Your father and I want the best for you.”
“Mother, if you just saw what happened inside the castle you would agree on not allowing me to see men ever again.” I press my lips together. “And what happened?” She drops her apron beside her on a hanger, and she walks up beside me.
“He basically threw himself at me. He told me that he would pay my father to marry me.” I look up at my mother, there's a hint of amusement in her eyes.
“Ah, young love.” she puts her right hand on her heart and looks at me dreamily. I push her. “Not funny mom. This is serious. I will run away if I have to.”
“Okay, don't forget to write!” she waves goodbye to me.
“Mother! How can you let your only daughter run away that easy.” I asked, appalled. “Easy answer.” She makes me stop and look into her golden eyes. “You would miss us, you wouldn't survive the outside world for a minute. And your father and I would be worried sick. I may even die from an illness because of you. You wouldn't want that for your mother, who I remind you did give birth to you.”
Why does she do this every time I bring out the runaway plan? She makes me feel remorseful.
“Fine.” We both walk inside the castle as we see Mrs. White looking pale as ever. “Your Majesty, Princess Julie.” She bows in a rush, “Prince Issac is here requesting to see Julie.” Issac? What is he doing here? The last time I saw him was like a few days ago. Why was he here? And most importantly, why was he requesting to see me?
“Oh, go along Julie.” My mother ordered. There was the sparkle in her eyes that she gets when she's up to something. My father calls it her monkey business, which always makes me giggle.
“Yes mother.” I say slowly. I look up at Mrs. White, “Where is he at?”
“He told me that he will be waiting at the front gates. He looked like he was in a rush.” I nodded my head and thanked her as I made my way out the door. Questions swarmed inside my head on like what he wanted. Also, if he felt that spark the day at the garden. Probably not. He didn't seem attracted to me when we went inside for dinner.
I reached the gate and there stood Issac. He was pacing around in circles. His messy brown curls made him look so adorable with his blue t-shirt. I could basically see his abs, he must work out a lot. And by my guessing a lot because 6-packs is a long way to go. He turned around meeting my eyes. I blushed and looked away. I've never been caught staring at a guy before, and especially one that's a Prince.
He smirked, “Julie! I was wanting to have a word with you.” I walked up to him shyly, which is weird because a few days ago I thought of him as a shy guy, but I realized he wasn't. He was really social, and now I'm acting all shy. What is he doing to me?
“What is it?” I ask, looking down at what he was playing with in his fingers. It was a card, and by the royalty stamp that I saw on it, it meant serious business. “Um, my father.,” He cleared his voice before perpetual, “Wanted to invite you to my....”
“To your what?” I grabbed the envelope from his hands. The writing read out Wedding. “Ooh, A Wedding!” Then I recalled what Issac had said, His Wedding.
I faked a smile, “Congratulations.” he didn't look so certain because the next thing that came out of his mouth shocked me the most.
“My father's idea of me getting married. Julie? If you don't want me to marry I won't.” he looked up at me with those icy blue eyes of his.
“What do you mean?” I ask.
“At the garden a few days when we came to visit, didn't you get that weird feeling when we were in the garden?”
I look at him. Shocked. Here's my chance. Here's my chance to have him, but he's getting married, and who ever it is that he's getting married to is going to be so furious as to who stole her fiancé. I shake my head, “I don't have a clue on what you're talking about?”
I hate myself, completely hate myself.
He grabs my hand and pulls me close to him, “I think I'm getting attached to you. I usually never tell a girl who I played with dolls or about my sister. Your different and I can feel it.” I shake my head once more as I push him off me, “I'm sorry. Issac, I can't. I just can't.”
“Why?” he asked, a sad look on his face.
That was all I heard from him as I ran inside the castle. Tears ran down my cheeks.
Why… he asked me, why.
The answer why is because :I don't fall for Princes. And I'm too afraid to admit that I might be falling for him,
