Julia's Point of View:
She took a single step toward me making the whole room go cold with one single touch. Her smile held so many emotions that it all crammed into one scary evil smirk. Her eyes were curious as a small infant figuring out to walk.
"Julia. It's nice to still see you alive and walking." she reached out to touch my very long hair. Making me feel all tense inside, "How have you been?"
Pleasant, Magnificent, anything other than I've been starving the whole entire time. You've left me here to rot. While as you were probably having the luxuries of a life time. Your a sinister human bean and deserve to be sent to jail. If my parents were here......... Then those six words hit me like a bulldozer. I'm old enough to be making my own decision. I'm a princess for crying out loud! I'm next in line to rule my own kingdom.
I prepare my words carefully until Lucinda takes out a shiny looking object shaped as an apple. It was red. I could almost taste it now feeling the sweetness erupt in my taste-bites. I wipe my mouth still watching Lucinda's movement as she takes a juicy bite from my apple. "I'm sorry. Did you want a bite?" she says in a very sarcastic tone, "I suppose I could give you a bite, but you have to tell me who were you talking to just a while ago?" I bit my lower lip. I wasn't about to lose the only friend I had here. I kept silent sensing someone near me. She took another bite watching me as I watched her with hungry eyes, "Don't do it, Julia. Shes testing you."
I look across me to see Seth with hollow eyes looking directly at Lucinda. "Don't." I whisper.
"What was that?" Lucinda says, she takes another juicy bite. She smiles evilly as she waits for me to speak.
"Nothing." I say, "There no one here. Just me."
The room started to change as she did as well. Her dark black hair started to turn a deep shade of red. The apple disappeared as her fingers curved in this ugly shape. She started to shirk unbelievably small. I heard a small pop as two wings started to form from either side of her back. Trust me when I say that those wings looked nothing like angles wings, so perfect and beautiful. No, it was the opposite of everything I once thought, or imagined. Her wings grew larger turning not white, but green. She smiled wickedly as her snake like tongue slithered. I cringed. Not believing what I was seeing. I looked desperately around to see Seth still beside me. He seemed terrified more then I was since his pale face turned even more pale. I took hold of his hand telling him that I was here no matter what happened to me.
"Surprised?" Lucinda, or whatever the creatures name was responded with a tight strain, "You don't remember me, do you?" the creature asked, "Now it is I who is surprised."
Every footstep she took made the room shake. Almost making me fall backwards if it wasn't for Seth taking a hold of me.
"Did your parents ever tell you about their life past together? How they meet? And more importantly How you became to be?" I frown as she gets no where near the point, "Your making no sense."
"Am I? Or is it because your not letting yourself remember?" I stay silent as her humungous wings reach me. Making me almost fall with so much wind coming my way. With one flick of her fingers a mirror appeared out of no where.
"Take a look." She said, She handed me the mirror. Taking it with shaky hands I saw my face. My blond hair losing a bit of color as I saw bags forming from under my eyes. "It's just me." I hand back the mirror, but she shakes her head and doesn't take it from me.
"Look harder." She hissed, I take one more look seeing the design of the mirror. Feeling a faint memory like I've seen this before in a dream. Beautiful swirls crafted such hand made with delicate features. I gasp seeing something on my neck. I brush my fingertips directly on the spot that caught my attention.
