Riley and I walk into Studio A to see Ms. Kate holding a clipboard. I look around at everyone before realizing that on the clipboard is probably the duet auditions order.

I look over at Eldon and smile. Our duet is actually really good. We have amazing chemistry and I really want to work with him for nationals.

"Ok we're going to start with duet auditions! Let's have James and Riley up first!" Ms. Kate calls.

Everyone cheers and I pat Riley on the back.

"You got this!" I whisper to her.

She smiles at me and runs to the middle of the room and gets into a close starting position with James.

The music starts and they start dancing and everyone is blown away. They're really good.

They're duet is clearly about their relationship. It's actually really sweet.

They end in a really close position as the music finished and they would probably start kissing if it wasn't for all of A-troupe watching.

They pull away smiling and walk back to the side of the room, but this time standing together. I smile at them and everyone is clapping for their duet. I wish Eldon and I were like our own version of Jiley.

I snap out of my thoughts as Ms. Kate calls Stephanie and West to the middle of the room.

Stephanie and West's duet looks like it's about two people who meet and turn out having the same personality and fall in love.

Stephanie and West have been dating for almost a month now and they're so cute together.

They end and everyone clapps. I think they have a good shot at winning the duet.

Amanda and Hunter go next and they're so good. Then Tiffany and Noah go and they're pretty good but I think that James and Riley have the best shot so far.

Then I hear Ms. Kate call Eldon and I.

Eldon walks to the center of the room and I stand behind him. The music starts and we start dancing. I think I'm dancing the best I've ever have.

The story of our duet is these two people who are complete opposite meet and find out that they really aren't that different. They learn to trust each other and to have confidence.

We're doing really good and I run over to Eldon for out ending pose.

He falls down and I fall down beside him. We lean in and our foreheads touch.

We reach up and press our hands together and all of a sudden we're kissing.

I'm kissing him and he's kissing back. The music's ended and I know everyone is looking at us but I don't care.

We keep kissing for what feels like an eternity when I hear clapping and jolt back to Earth. We pull away at the same time and we're both embarrassed. I look at him and run out of studio A. I keep running until I get to my car in the parking lot.

I jump into my car and start crying. Crying about why life has to be so complicated and crying about how embarrassed and confused I feel. I liked kissing Eldon. And he clearly liked kissing me. Otherwise he would have pulled away.

I hear knocking on my car window and I jump. I look out the window and see Eldon so I roll down the window.

"Hey." Eldon says smiling.

"Hey." I reply, smiling back at him.
