Chapter 13: The truth is out.

A few days later...

Leon's POV:

Not much has really happened in the last few days. Angie and Fran have flown over to support Vilu even though she still doesn't know the truth yet. Actually it's today I have to tell her everything although I think she's worked it herself. I am petrified to tell her what if she realises I've known all along she might hate me and not love me anymore; I just can't stand that thought, well anyway here it goes.

Leon: How are you darling?

Vilu: Okay I guess I just want to get out of here.

Leon: I need to tell you something not easy.

Vilu: I think I know what's coming.

Leon: I'm so sorry you know that and I partly feel responsible as you wouldn't have got knocked over or being in the club in the first place if it wasn't for me...

Vilu: Leon just shut up and say what we're both thinking.

Leon: We lost the baby.

She then burst out in tears and fell in my chest. I sat on the bed with her as she continued. I kept stroking her back and saying everything will be alright until she calmed down enough to talk and support herself, then she turned to face me.

Vilu: Leon, you know what the worst part is.

Leon: What?

Vilu: I was so worried about becoming a young mother and us coping as parents with our careers but know it's gone I really just want to be a mother.

Leon: Well we can talk about that later, because I feel the same even though I didn't really know until it was still here.

Vilu: When can we try again?

Leon: We can ask the doctor that but I think a few months.

Vilu: Okay can I ask you something else?

Leon: Of course, anything.

Vilu: Be honest, how long have you known?

Leon: A couple of days but before you get mad at me I was under strict doctor's orders as they wanted time to let your body rest and so you could cope with the news.

Vilu: I do understand I was slightly annoyed when I worked it out but I trusted you there was a reason why weren't telling me.

Leon: How did you exactly work it out?

Vilu: Well with Fran and Angie coming, especially them leaving their kids at home I knew it was serious especially Angie she hates letting Isla be away for one night never mind several days.

Leon: Okay I'm just glad you don't hate me.

Vilu: I could never remember we've tried that before especially in second year.

Leon: Yeah, I suppose you're right. Anyway I'll let you rest and when do you want to see the girls.

Vilu: Anytime, I'm not tired.

Leon: Okay they'll be here soon and I'll be back later.

Vilu: Okay bye.

Time skip

Violetta's POV

I've been alone for a while now and the same things just keep playing over and over in my head and most of all how now I just want to be a mother. Just then there was a knock at the door and I shouted come in.

Vilu: I'm glad you girls are here to take my mind off things.

Fran: Yeah, how you doing.

Vilu: Okay, I guess I just now regret been so worried as that won't of helped and know it's too late I just really want to be a mother.

Fran: Oh come here.

Then she and the other girls hugged me.

Fran: Anyways in the meanwhile you are always a second mum to Evelyn and I know it's not the same but it might help those feelings.

Angie: Yeah same with Isla.

Vilu: Thanks but I don't know how I'll feel when I see them.

Fran: Don't worry of course it's all in your own time.

Vilu: Thank-you for understanding.

Cami: How's Leon doing?

Vilu: I think he's alright but a bit like me even though he only knew for a short while he quite liked the thought of becoming a parent.

Naty: Yeah who wouldn't especially when he loves you so much.

Vilu: Yeah I suppose he does and his main worry when telling me this morning was the thought that I would leave him or hate him.

Cami: Oh that's so sweet.

Fran: Do you reckon he might you know pop the question anytime soon.

Naty: We always said you two would be the first at everything.

Vilu: I don't know but I think he might wait a bit after what's just happened but of course I would love to marry him. After all I'm sure he's the love of my life.
