Chapter 33: The wedding

Violetta's POV:

This is it! My last day as Miss Castillo; here I am standing in the white dress with everyone I love around me just waiting for the car to arrive to take me to the venue. You know as a child this is what you always dream of the big white wedding and a perfect day but to be honest all I care about now is the fact that in a matter of hours we will have made the commitment of life together and confirm what I have known now for a long time. Me and Leon are meant to be together forever. Even after everything we've been through especially over this last year he is still there for me and I am there for him. I hear the noise of a car pulling up outside and that takes me back to earth.

German: Are you ready?

Vilu: Ready as I'll ever be.

My father takes my arm and leads me out of the door followed by my bridesmaids; Francesca (with Evie of course), Cami, Ludmilla and Naty followed by Angie and Isla. We get into the cars and they set off. When we get there I step out the girls help me with my trail and we make our way inside until we arrive behind a set of big black doors and I know this is it!

Fran: How are you feeling Vilu?

Ludmi: Don't ask her that she doesn't need people making her more anxious. It's a very stressful day as it is.

Vilu: It's fine Ludmi actually I don't feel half as anxious as I thought I would. I know that all that matters now is getting down there and saying yes and I know there is no reason why that won't happen. Yes I want everyone to have an amazing time and for it all to go smoothly but once I've said I do to be honest I don't care what happens after that, because I know that I'll be happy. Except Ludmi don't give birth, because that would maybe be a bit too much drama for my liking.

Everyone laughs

Ludmi: Don't worry sister, it's a bit too early for that- I hope- still another 3 months to go till that.

Just then I head pops out of the doors.

Diego: Are you all ready out here?

Everyone looks at Vilu.

Vilu: I think so!

As I say that I hear the music start to play in the chapel and we line up accordingly and My dad smiles at me before taking my arm in his. As the bridesmaids walk down the aisle and take their seats a glimmer of sunshine shines through the small windows at the top of the room landing straight on him. As the girls and Angie take their seats, that spotlight of sun highlights the most important thing to me in that room. Leon!

My Dad leads me down the aisle and then we pause for a moment. My dad simply smiles at Leon and then he turns to me, kisses my cheek and then my hand before releasing it and placing it in Leon's.

(time skip to the last part of the ceremony)

Registster: Do you Leon Vargas take Violetta Castillo to be your lawfully wedded wife?

Leon: (with the biggest smile on his face) I most certainly do! (he places the ring on Violetta's finger)

Register: And do you Violetta Castillo take Leon Vargas to be your lawfully wedded husband?

Violetta: I most certainly do too! (she places the matching ring on Leon's finger)

Register: Leon you may now kiss the bride.

And with that they came together and shared a romantic kiss but not too long they were very aware of all the people in the room.

Leon: (whispering in Violetta's ear) I'll give you a better one later.
