Chapter 17: One night, one baby.

Leon's POV

Tonight Vilu has agreed with her father and Angie that we will was Isla for the night as it is their anniversary, however I'm really nervous that she isn't ready. Ludmilla phoned me earlier and told me what happened at the café and that was with a kid that's not even really a baby anymore and Isla's only 7 months that means she actually really has to be with her and attend to her most of the time. I honestly don't mind doing most of it but you know Violetta she will insist on trying and pushing herself too far. I am going to pick her up in about 45 minutes but before I need to talk to Vilu.

Leon: Vilu we need to talk about tonight.

Vilu: What do you mean?

Leon: Well I just don't want you to push yourself too far; you know it's okay if it's still too much you don't have to do it I can cope...

Vilu: What you talking about its fine I'm sure I'll be fine after all I love her.

Leon: I'm not questioning that you love her but I know what happened earlier.

Vilu: What you talking about?

Leon: You know what Vilu. Ludmilla told me.

Vilu: It was nothing, I promise.

Leon: She said that you looked like you were having a panic attack and that's not good for anyone especially you. Look Vilu, I love you and you should know I only am doing this, because I care about you.

Vilu: Whatever you better go and pick her up anyway it's nearly time.

Leon: You sure.

Vilu: Yes go.

Then I did as she said I'm so scared about how tonight's going to go.

Time skip to tea time.

Me and Vilu are just about to sit down for tea and one of us needs to feed Isla. I've prepared everything and Isla's been napping since she's got here so none of us have actually had to do anything yet so let's see how this goes. I enter the living room.

Leon: Vilu, tea's ready I'll just wake Isla and get her ready if you want to take the food to the table.

Vilu: No, I'll do Isla.

Leon: You sure.

Vilu: Yeah stop worrying.

I then headed back to the kitchen but watched Vilu from the doorway.

Violetta's POV

I need to do this and stop being so stupid. I went over to her pram and knelt down here it goes.

Vilu: Isla, wakey wakey it's time for food.

I go to gently shake her but as I raise my hand I see it shaking. I've got to do this I know Leon's watching me from the kitchen and he probably knows I know. I start to do it but the shaking intensifies and I start to struggle to breathe. Isla then wakes up and I try to undo the straps in her pram but I can't, because of it, then I almost collapse at the side as I see Leon running over to me.

Leon: Vilu, are you alright?

I then slowly look up at his takes me into his arms.

Leon: It's okay don't worry you just go sit at the table and I'll look after this little one.

Vilu: Okay but you can still bring her to the table, I can look at her and be near her.

Leon: Yeah, of course, don't worry you just go sort yourself out.

I can't believe what just happened I need to be a mother now I can't deal with other's children, because I want one of my own so badly. Either that or am I just scared by touching them I'll hurt them like how I managed to kill mine. Maybe that's it; either way I need to stop being pathetic and stop being a wimp for everyone's sake.

Time skip to after Isla's in bed and they're sat cuddled up on the sofa.

Leon's POV

I can't believe what happened earlier, it was a lot worse than I thought. It hurt me so much to see her like that on the floor. I don't want to bring it up but we need to talk about it.

Leon: Vilu, I don't want to hurt you but what happened earlier?

Vilu: I don't know but...

She started tearing up then I held her tighter and stroked her back while telling her it's okay.

Vilu: I honestly don't know Leon but it scares me so much that I don't understand but I think I know what the reason is.

Leon: Go on; of course only if you're ready.

Vilu: I think that if I touch them, then I'll hurt them or worse just like our baby.

Leon: You don't need to think like that you're brilliant with Evelyn and Isla it's just breaking that barrier again and do you what the most important thing is?

Vilu: No, what?

Leon: That you've always got me to do it with and support you so you're never alone.

Vilu: Thank-you I know I've got the best boyfriend ever and you know what I want to try again with Isla in the morning but with you helping me.

Leon: Of course if that's what you want we'll work together to overcome it.

I love how she said boyfriend but I soon hope to change that as tomorrow night is the time. I am going to propose and fingers crossed make her my fiancé.
