Chapter 28

Violetta's POV

Tonight we're going round to Ludmi and Fedes for a meal but I can't help but think there's more to it than just a nice gesture but who knows it's probably just me overthinking things again. Earlier I went to my first counselling session and it was good, yeah good I think it is really what I need and I'm going for my second appointment next week so yeah. Anyway back to tonight I've just finished my makeup and have put my mid length purple dress on with one shoulder strap and some black high heels and am waiting downstairs for Leon who I know will be ready anytime.

Leon: you ready?
Vilu: yeah let's get going.

We then go out the door and into Leon's car on the way to their house.

Ludmilla's POV

I was just putting the last of the food in the oven and then began to start the washing up when Fede came through.

Fede: I'll do that my love you two go and relax before this evening.
Ludmi: Just because I'm pregnant doesn't make me useless you know. (I say as I sit down on a chair he'd already placed for me in the kitchen)
Fede: I know I'm sorry anyway how you feeling about tonight.
Ludmi: Obviously I'm nervous but when I talked to Leon earlier he said she'd been a lot better recently and her session this afternoon went really well apparently I just hope this doesn't set her back.
Fede: Yeah, I'm sure everything will be good.

That's when the doorbell rang I took a deep sigh then went to open it while Fede stayed in the kitchen.

Ludmi: Hey come in.
Vilu: Thanks

They came in and Leon went to see Fede in the kitchen while I went to the living room with Violetta. We just had general chitchat until the guys came to tell us it was ready and we went to the dining room where the food was already set out.

Vilu: This is really good food Ludmi.
Ludmi: Thanks.
Leon: Anymore wine anyone.
Vilu: Yes please
Leon: Ludmilla?
Ludmi: No thanks I'll go fill my water up in a minute.

Violetta's POV

Now I know there's something Ludmilla refusing a drink is like the sea without water. It just never happens. We were in the middle of the meal when Fede glances and Ludmilla and she nods.

Fede: So there is another reason for this dinner tonight as we have some news to tell you and we wanted to tell you guys before the others.
Vilu: I guessed there might be.
Leon: Violetta!
Vilu: Sorry just an instinct I wasn't been rude.
Ludmi: Anyway we're engaged.
Vilu: OMG CONGRATS we can have our weddings near each other and go on honeymoon together AGH!
Ludmi: Calm down lol we can work details like that out later.
Fede: Anyway that's not all. (Ludmi then places her hand on Fedes)
Ludmi: Vilu don't be mad it wasn't totally planned okay.
Vilu: Just spit it out I'm sure it's not that bad.
Ludmi: I'm pregnant.
Vilu: That's great news forget about me I'm dealing with my loss but your my sister pretty much and I'd never want any of the girls especially you to feel bad, because you are starting a family I can't believe I'm going to be an auntie I can't wait.
Ludmi: I'm glad you feel that way and your not jealous and your more than welcome to spend as much time as them as you would like just like you do with Isla and Evie.

I went round to the other side of the table and gave her a hug obviously it's a another thing sort of in my way but she's my sister and I am generally over the moon for her we finished off the evening then me and Leon went back home.
