Chapter 21: Party time part 1.

Violetta's POV

Me and Leon got ready and now we're in the car on the way to the house. He has one hand on my knee while I stare down at the gorgeous ring on my left hand. I hadn't thought of it but I suppose I better try and hide it before we announce the engagement otherwise they'll know.

Leon: You looking forward to this party?

Vilu: Yeah, you.

Leon: Yeah. How do you think everyone will take the news?

Vilu: I think they'll all be really happy, after all we'll be hosting the first studio wedding.

We both laughed. Shortly after we arrived and we were the first there except from those who live there obviously. We got in, they had decorated really nicely and there was a little stage where they said we could announce the news and no doubt we'll end up performing up there. I can't wait for it to begin.

Vilu: So I think everything is ready and the guests should be here soon.

Leon: Yeah everythings perfect just like you.

He said as he came closer and placed his arms around my waist and pulled me close. I couldn't resist even though my dad and Angie were just stood there awkwardly; I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. Until we got interrupted by a knock at the door.

Vilu: I'll get it.

I walked over to the door and opened it and it was Diego, Fran and Evie. I hugged them all and took Evie in my arms.

Fran: It's nice to see you back to normal with her.

Vilu: Yeah I just had to stop being stupid.

Fran: Don't say that it's totally normal to be like that after what happened.

She hugged me and we placed Evie on the ground so she could toddle a bit before it gets busy and she can't. I then feel my dad behind me. Shit, he doesn't know.

German: What's she talking about.

I didn't know what to say but I saw Leon walk over.

Leon: Do you want me to tell him?

I just looked scared and slightly nodded.

Leon: She had a miscarriage about 2 months ago. She lost it while she was visiting me on tour and that's why we cancelled it and it was when we Isla over other night that she conquered her little fear of holding a baby.

Vilu: Sorry I didn't tell you, please forgive me. I didn't tell before I went, because we were going to tell you once I knew the situation with Leon but then I lost it and I was struggling myself and I to be honest just thought Angie would tell you.

German: So that was who you went to support and why.

Angie: Don't be angry, please German. I knew you'd want me with her but I didn't feel like it was my place to say anything and I just thought Vilu would tell you in her own time and I suppose it just slipped over our heads now everything had settled back down.

German: I am angry about this but I'll speak to you later Angie but Vilu I understand you were probably not thinking straight so I do forgive you. Anyway let's just enjoy the party.

I walked over to Fran I think that went better than I thought but I feel bad for Angie I'll call Dad to his office later and have a word tell him not to be harsh on her and forgive her I would hate to be the reason that something came between them after all I did to get them together.

Fran: Anyway back to the party it all seems a bit special is there something I'm missing.

I put my hands behind my back knowing that she would immediately start looking for clues.

Vilu: Whattt, you'll have to wait and see.

Phew, that was close.
